I already know the point, to make preteen girls think fat is even more evil than they have already been told, make them think surgery is the first and best answer to not being "pretty enough" and that as long as they try to look sexy according to the media standards and have the most expensive stuff they will be happy.

I don't see why this is worth talking about. Men have the exact same image problems. Except if we talk or complain about it, we get called faggots. But fat men are still considered ugly, and testosterone often affects the body in ways that are not considered pretty. And it will always be customary for both men and women to pity and condescend to small, weak men.

True but there is less propaganda aimed at re-enfocing the male sterotypes, possiblely because most executives are male and they don't want to push propaganda denouncing their own flaws out of insecurity, but mostly because they are more conserned with forcing the female sterotypes since they are more interested in turning 75% of women into air headed sex toys.

The media is constantly pushing these images on us trying to make everyone who doesn't fall in line with them feel bad. It's worth talking about because these things shouldn't be just ignored when their presence is causing more negative emotions and cause people to feel bad about themselves for no reason. go do a serch on you tube for "weight loss" "need to lose" or "I'm ugly" and see how many vids you get of beautiful young girls, with nothing wrong with them, complaining about how fat or ugly they are. Granted both sexes suffer from image problems, but it was never as bad as it is now before the mass media started creating ideals some 100 years ago.

to just say it's not worth talking about because it's common won't help solve anything.

Um... no. Look around. You'll see penis enlargement products, baldness treatments, muscle builders, and idiotic pheremones all over the place. There are ads everywhere online, you can't watch an hour of TV after 12:00am without seeing tons of idiotic Levitra/Enzyte commercials, and men who go bald are willing to undergo shit like hair plugs and hair transplants because baldness isn't attractive. And unlike fat women, men can't solve these problems by putting down the fork. They're permenant without invasive surgery (everything else is bullshit that doesn't work), and woman and men think less of people who are inadequate in these areas. Executives use toupees (look at Don Trump) like everyone else, whether or not they're insecure about themselves.

And every situation comedy, highschool movie, and action-oriented videogame heaps scorn on the small, physically weak man who can't stand up to his adversaries. There's more pressure on men to be manly than there is on women to be alive. Anyone who isn't, or can't be, is a patronized joke.

Guess what? Being overtly manly rarely results in any good. Unlike, oh, say, losing weight.

Bullshit, they want to make money, and they'll turn anyone into what the hell ever in their attempts.
