Probably the latter, im going to assume...if it doesn't have any gradual tf or nudity in sight, why bother? Lol

To answer your question. The story development was good, as was the acting. However, the special effects were very minimal and amateurish. I think the best thing to come along in the last few years was "When Animals Dream". "Bloodthirsty" isn't even in the same category.

Thanks. This says it all. Skipping the movie.

This comment is honestly over critical of the transformation. Is it the next coming of AAWIL? No. But to call it "amateurish" is a bit much. I uploaded the scene to my dropbox, just so others can get the chance to form their own opinions.

Thank you very much for the contribution!! I've seen the scene, and it is not bad. For me, the only negative thing is the fact that the TF was only face-nails (and a bit of backspine)... nothing beyond recent movies like I am Lisa or similar. :P

I agree, it's not too bad. That said - and this isn't a criticism of the movie so much as praise for Rose Crowley - Rose's TFs are far better and I'm fairly confident she's not working with a comparable budget (even considering this in terms of dollars per runtime).

They probably could have done more with the TF if they had wanted to, but unlike AAWIL and the Howling series, the TF effects aren't really the stars of the show. I don't necessarily disagree with the decision either - TF fetishists aren't exactly the target audience with most werewolf movies, so fair enough.

Yep, I agree with you. Anyway, I have always believed that a good TF scene is something that would attract not only the fetishists, but also the fans of good fx and also horror fans... the so-called "body horror" looks at the same time horrifying and appealing for those people (me included). And well, another thing to consider about that: why, when there's a TF scene in a movie, it is almost always partially shown in the ads? Just my two cents ;)

Isn't that the same guy from Bitten? He's going to get typecast as 'guy who helps women turn into werewolves'.

The transformation begins at the very start and once it's finished there isn't another one in this video. It's just the Vampire Diaries spinoff so don't complain too much if you can help it, but I found it reasonably enjoyable.
