Re: Overlord Bob
i noted it's black shirt boy that did the main part.
the bonus pages I had to go to someone else as BSB is bit busy this month for extras this month apparently. |
Re: Overlord Bob
oooo ok I see it now.
I looked yesterday on the last few pages to see who the artist was, but it looks like I just missed it. (half way down page 10 doh) BSB is really improving. |
Re: Overlord Bob
yeah it should be fun, the comic is already done on that note so just waiting till halloween.
anyways another commission is done http://overlordbob.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4clmss being lazy about posting it all, you can find the rest in the gallery or blog. |
Re: Overlord Bob
grandstorm finished part 2 of his previous one
http://overlordbob.deviantart.com/ga...75825#/d4cz1fs 1 week till halloween =) i think everyone will enjoy it. also anyone have knowledge on setting up a web-comic website, currently using wordpress/comicpress set up. It's ok and will suffice for now for the start of the comic but I would prefer a more streamlined design if possible. |
Re: Overlord Bob
Halloween special is up, BSB will post it up on DA later so you can catch it on there as well.

Here's a teaser for a project I and Dante are working on with ZerroForever's approval guys. :D It's set in the Overlord Bob universe, and we plan on going back and changing the sequence into a full blown comic for the character involved as well. :)

Re: Overlord Bob
heh looks interesting.
anyways another one done http://my.deviantart.com/messages/#/d4fuwnu And also the webcomic is starting up http://www.dungeonsandbarbies.com/ there will be tf/tg at some points on but nothing notable to start off. |
Re: Overlord Bob
Both of those look awesome, but I feel the need to criticize the text on the webcomic. If you're not going to have your words match the surface of the paper, you shouldn't even draw wavy paper in the first place. It makes the text look especially static compared to the rest of the art. You don't even need any special effects, just make sure each individual line is centered on the "page" by putting spaces on the left and right of the text as needed.

Re: Overlord Bob
i hear what your saying, admittedly i didn't do the lettering but having done it in the past it is possible to curve the words with scroll/page but as the lettering was the last thing to be put in we really didn't focus on it instead just trying to get the website and other things working.
Might be worth a change at some point but I'm not going to worry about it for now. anyways thanks for the support =) |
