In this week's chapter chiho demonstrates her ability to Rei finally. The dial does stand for size and she can freely control it. Apparently undiesman was fighting evil AI in the future, though Rei might be assuming some things. But now he knows it, and chiho's recent porn, were real. Cue asshole, violent, jealous boyfriend walking in on her naked with rei. So next week might see the start of Oku's usual shenanigans either with her hurting him and/or accidentally the whole apartment if her dial gets triggered in a scuffle.

A case of someone translating literally with noe flourish. But that scene would be like someone repeating “oh my god, oh my god, oh my god” over and over again when shocked. Other things stand out too like I’m sure the translation to gramps all though probably literal in this case could be translated to old man.

For those who were/are still following Gigant, things have progressed to the point of Chiho's first kaiju battle as she grows and heads out to battle For her manlet boyfriend and the fate of Tokyo. She's only 30-40 ft or so now, but her enemy is 800 ft tall so that's where she's heading.
