I really didn't think it was worth it. The process, although good, is short lived and not really wat I care for. I'd rate it 4/10

Actually, the best shrinking process I've seen was a "spy" who wanted to be "the best spy ever". Maybe some of you know this vid ;)

Missa's new video would come in second, because of her good acting and the nice FX quality. But I was a bit disapointed because of the lack of shrinking process between size 3 foot and 5 inches...

So if you don't "care" for the video why post anything about it at all? It's one thing to have some constructive things to say, but don't just say bullshit stuff like "I didn't like it". That does nothing except upset the person who produced the work. Of course if the process isn't what you care for you're not going to like it. That's like buying a cheeseburger to eat even though you don't like cheese then saying you didn't like it.

I don't want to sound harsh but if you don't like the video then don't post that you don't like it, that does nothing unless you want to point out the good and the bad and explain your reasoning. Missa won't get better at something hearing people say "It sucks". Also keep in mind that every video that goes up somebody paid her to do it their way, so all of these videos that our community gets to see are usually people from this community having it done how they want it. So knowing that, if you didn't like this video and think you can write a script and do better, send Missa an email and fork over the cost of the custom clip and lets see how your idea stacks up!

I figured the process was a little gappy from the preview, but 4 out of 10 with Missa's talent seems a little harsh. Maybe 6 or 7 just on a technicality of "incomplete" shrinkage and to leave room for improvement, but failing??? Jesus... :(

EDIT: For the record, when *I* give something 6 or 7, it's usually due to completeness. Acting - at least in Missa's case - is usually in the upper 10%. ;)

Also, as I have yet to arrange payments for any of these clips, I'm reserving judgment until I can do so.

@tjlemke: There's a big difference between "This doesn't appeal to my personal tastes" and "This is poorly made." I don't care for Springsteen or Ke$ha, but I would only call one of them a terrible, talentless musician. 4/10 seems a bit harsh just because it didn't run according to your personal specifications. Now if you have some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism...

@Jambon: I assume you're referring to a video with Kerri at Shrinking Dreams? Yeah, that was a nice one... :-D you do have a point about the sudden jump between sizes. I'll remember that next time I commission her. (See? Constructive.)

I think that (for me) the ultimate video would be a fusion of those two ^_^ : a whole sequence like in Kerry's vid, and a quality of acting and FX like Missa's clips.

Just bought it and watched it, figured I'd throw in my two cents.

I think it was very well made, the effects were impressive, the acting wasn't terrible, and considering that there are few shrinking vids out these days, especially made by Missa, I would say its worth getting and would rate it at a 7/10.

Now on the personal side of things, I'm shrinking process fan who leans more heavily towards the oversized clothes (and their subsequent loss at various stages in the process) aspect. While there was a subtle presence of this in the video, I can only say that if Missa plans on doing other shrinking videos, that I'd like to see more of it. I've always enjoyed Gary's videos from Shrinking Dreams because of how well he pulls this part of the process off and would suggest drawing on those for reference and hopefully inspiration for Missa's next video.

Lol, this place is fucking hilarious (and in a very, VERY sad way).

So it's perfectly fine to gush over the genius that is Missa, but throw out one iota of negativity, and all hell breaks loose (The clip was really good, btw, imo). So what if he didn't like the clip and offered no constructive criticism? People do it all the time! Furthermore, he's entitled to voice his opinion on these boards just as much as everyone here.

Missa will be fine. Trust me. She doesn't need any of you to shield her from the minority of folks who don't like a particular clip. If she's as professional as she seems, then she can take the negative with the positive.

This isn't about gushing over Missa. This is exactly as you said it, .."people doing it all the time". That's the problem. People all over this board are real fast to jump on the "I Hate This" bandwagon just so they can. Personal opinions are fine, but if you're not going to post anything that helps make an artist or producer better, then don't post your bullshit "It sucks" opinion.

Sure, some people have iron wills and don't give a shit what we say, but a lot do (and should) take criticism to heart because most if not all of the people that produce work for our community tend to take it seriously. For people like X-Spander, Missa, MaxGrowth, TMC, and Growth Dreams it's their living and if you're "disappointed" or "didn't like this or that" they want to know why because they don't want people telling them they're bad and not knowing what they did wrong. Is it just personal opinion? Is there something technical that you see that people aren't noticing unless pointed out to them(such as camera mistake, a bad prop, a scene change or something physical)?

I suppose since I'm an artist I tend to look at things differently than people who are used to just throwing out random opinions on how much things suck, but as a group of people that tend to get our kicks off of certain fetishes in film, clips and movies, I think we can do a lot better if everybody backed up opinions with a little bit more than a passing thought or negative comment.

This is just my thoughts about this, I'm not trying to harp on tjlemke or you either Obsidian Reaver (sorry if it sounds directed toward you guys too much).
