Dubstep's on my shitlist, too, but for an entirely different reason.
When you see... *shudder* THEM... you'll understand.

To be honest with you, I'm surprised GainAx hasn't taken more of the piss out of them than they already have.

I always picked Bulbasaur, gave you a type advantage over the first 3 gyms.

Re: Pokemon: the Origin

Strictly out of curiosity, did you start on Blue or Red?
I have a working theory here, that the first Pokémon people used was the type on the boxart... although that'd have you starting with Green... (which, itself, wasn't available stateside until the Fire Red / Leaf Green reissue)...

Dammit, Kari, you're breaking molds all over the place!
Keep it up and we won't have any left!
;) :D

I think I had Red, but typically opted for Squirtle though occasionally Bulbasaur.

As a side note, I'm hoping there's a bit more creativity and the fire starter for x and y doesn't end up as a fire/fighting type.

Well, it learns Psybeam and Psychic, so here's hoping...

Red and Charmander were my firsts. Managed to stick with the main series until Crystal. After that, I never had a GBA, so I never got the games that came out for it.

My cousin and I had Blue while my brother had Red. My cousin chose Squirtle, my brother chose Charmander, and I originally picked Bulbasaur. However, the Gameboy I was using died on me after I beat Brock (and I hadn't saved yet...God, so much RAGE) and do when I managed to get some new batteries I basically said "Fuck it" and chose Charmander.

Yeah, the "three way split" with either friends or three cartridges was technically the only way to get all 151 of the little guys.

I'm curious how many people started with the box type, please vote here when you get the chance. :D

I Gameshark'd the crap out of those first six games, just to get the ones that required trading... I didn't have any friends who owned the games >_>

Re: Pokemon: the Origin

Finally...an anime with the TRUE hero of the Pokemon universe: Red.

Now...the question is, is this just a one shot movie or are we going to get a new series?
