Initially, I would have to say it was BJ from Dr Shrinker. Even though I wasn't even in double digits yet, age-wise, seeing her so tiny really turned me on.

The Incredible Shrinking Woman & several episodes of my favourite cartoons (like Pandamonium, Thundercats & Laverne & Shirley Join the Army) really helped to solidify my obsession with shrunken women.

For the longest time I thought I was just some lone weirdo.....then I found the ISW website back in the late 1990's.....that is when I knew I wasn't alone!

Yeah, mostly Alice in Wonderland!!! When we were little girls, my ex and I used to love Alice, and we'd even act it out!!

Im not sure how I left out Alice in Wonderland. I used to watch the Disney cartoon all the time.

Oddly, except for the two shrinking scenes, I never saw the Tim Burton version.

Thanks for the mention. Seems like decades ago since I put up that site.

I'm from far back. When I was a kid the movie Captain Sinbad aired on regular TV (in my olds you had three major networks and whatever was on channel 2 thru 12 on VHF and what you could find on UHF). It starred Guy Williams (played the father on Lost in Space 60's TV series) as Sinbad. A princess got changed into a bird to fly out to see Sinbad as he was coming into port. When she returned, she was in the middle of being changed back when the villain came into the wizard's room and caught her doll size after changing from the bird.
Never told anyone about it. I caught movies on the Creature Double Feature with shrunken people or giants terrorizing a place picking up women. It got sexual when I got older and would daydream about it being me getting the tiny women.
I ran into a pre-Lorekeep forum on the Net back in the dial up days. And they would have a "contest" with us writing stories. Back then it was people like Shrinker1, SallyForth, Greenplant and a few other who would post stuff we wrote or even photo manipulated on the primitive programs they had then. Got introduced to the IRC and some of from the forum met there to chat. New people, like SailorDolly back when she was the young one in the group, would meet and get pointed to the forum then my site.
We've come a long way since then. Many sites and forums now and we're still on the IRC chatting away. And we have a convention also. Never thought I would see something like that back in the late 80's that we have now.

I feel like one can tell how old they've gotten based on how many times they see this question pop up lol.

For me, I had no clue I was into it until a google image search led me to Glassthorn's old site. From there I learned what I liked and looked for more, eventually finding hte Process back in it's Transfur days. Been around ever since.

Ain't that the truth... Still, gotta remember some of the newest folks weren't even born when some of us first found SW. Some things never change (although it was a lot harder to carry around stone tablets with SW carved into them)

I also remember buying video tapes of The Attack of the 40 Foot Tall Incredible Shrinking Women and Eaten Alive before you could buy SW clips and download them.

For me the concept of shrinking was terrifying. I couldn't feel comfortable even watching it happen to other people. I remember a Mork From Ork episode based on the incredible shrinking man. I had to leave the room. Anytime anyone ever drank a potion or picked up a ray gun I used to be worried that it would shrink them.

Weird how intense those feelings were.

It was only as I grew older that I discovered that the same idea that used to terrify me was now fueling my sexual fantasies. I liked SW first, but it expanded from there. Currently I am a fan of SW, BE, MiniGTS, and often have fantasies where I am the one shrinking. A lot of my fiction is SM based.
