Was hoping it would be a little more scarier, but interesting to see a couple of doll TFs, if a little short but sweet.

Oh, so there are doll tfs in tonights episode. Thought they were just aliens in costumes. Nice change of pace. ^^

The doll TFs are actually well done, although female process fans might be disappointed with the female TF in the episode. Overall though, it was great, and actually quite freaky.

Wasn't expecting it, kinda nice. Saw it with friends which was ... awkward. Stop doing female TFs Doctor!

Indeed. The doll TFs themselves are good, its a shame that we only got to really see Amy's hair change and not her face. But I suppose they have to spend there budget wisely.

Here ripped the transformation/sorta reversion scenes. Either download from the attachment to this post or from http://www.mediafire.com/?j4c1cap338m9cn5 it's all the same file. Enjoy.

I thought the transformation itself was sorta bland. Not bad, but nothing too impressive.

Exactly, I was just happy to see some sort of female companion TF like this. Sure, Amy's TF wasnt as good as the guy's one with the hand, face, hair, etc., but any TF in any show surly gives a huge boost in the TF fanart department, right? XD

Makes a change from the Many Deaths of Rory Williams at least... ;P

Aw, and I put this in "Transformation proper"...

I almost wish this episode had been a two-parter, in which case a lot more about the dolls and who/what they are could have been developed. I would have loved to really get into the heads of those who had been transformed and what they were experiencing, especially Amy. I don't think there's enough of these "assimilating monster" stories seen from the perspective of the victim.

Re: Doll transformation

The peg dolls, as they've been officially named by the producers, are interesting as you aren't sure whether what they were doing was real or just a psychic illusion and brain washing brought on by our true alien in the episode. If they are real things, does that mean they have the chance of returning? If they are fake, do they appear as the defense of all the aliens of that race or will the take on a different look next time?
