I have seen a few people do good stuff with AI image generators, but overall they have a problem of being kind of bland and samey.

Yeah, so far from what I've seen the only thing that you can make look consistently good is anime style, and even then getting it to understand what you want when it comes to esoteric shit like shrinking looks to be a pain in the ass. I haven't messed with any of the ones that allow NSFW but I've experimented with Dall-E and it only ever seems to get to about 60~70% of what I want. I've found it more useful as a way to narrow down ideas that I only have a vague idea of visually. Honestly though, as a tool It could probably be really useful in at least generating the individual elements of a collage. Make a pile of clothing. Make a naked woman looking surprised. Then you photoshop 'em together manually.

On the wordy side of things I have thought about trying to do some back-and-forth shrink RP/lit with novelai (been forever and a half since I've played in a good shrink RP) but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

That may have been me. Some of my stuff is still there, and the reason for the delete was "not asian art style." I'm not banned or anything, it is just, why bother posting there? (LK also got deleted for posting stuff from Shrink-fan comics - also not asian art.)

I find AI is good for source material. I have to do as much collage work as ever, but ultimately the quality is higher.

Precisely what I did to make the cover art for my latest audio file. Generate nude girl, generate scale, do some collaging and 'shopping, and there it is.

I could also see it being a good way to convey an *idea.* Whip up the basic concept for how you want an image to look, then give that to an actual artist wot you're paying, so they have a good general notion what you want.
