Re: 3rd Art BE Videos

no BE since October 2013, dates of BE content: 10-3-2013, 2-1-2012, 7-3-2011, 4-1-2011, 12-2-2010.
my guess would be in 3 months.

The guy's lack of communication with his customers is ridiculous.

Just wondering but is the site still worth joining?

I've been a member of the site for years and I'm wondering if the owner has been getting less money over time since it gets hit with piracy pretty regularly, and by 'pretty regularly', I mean, within 24 hours of new releases.

I remember that 3rd-art used to produce 2+ videos per month, and now it's down to one per month, and releases usually go out up to 3-5 days after the 1st of each month.

It's definitely been in decline for a year. I remember people suggesting that they boycott the site until they get what they want, but if you do that, you'll kill the site for good.

This is just like, my opinion man, and it has been loaded with a lot of speculation, but I think that the owner thinks that the B.E. community doesn't want to actually pay for B.E.!
Even though it's probably amongst the higher quality stuff that this fetish has to offer. So instead of boycotting it, join up and email the owner that you'll stay on board, or to actually come out and speak to people more clearly about the state of their website in regard to its financial stability.

There is a support e-mail on the site that you can use to voice your concerns, even if you don't get a reply, I'm positive that the emails get read. Who knows, maybe the majority of their paying traffic prefers relatively vanilla scenes now.

I'm sorry to unload a bunch of guessing and speculation, but yeah. Piracy in the B.E. community is r a m p a n t.

TL;DR:
Unfortunately no, the site is not worth joining for its B.E. content because it has become uncommon. You'll be waiting 3+ months at a time for that, usually with it broken up into segments each under 2 minutes. It's extremely cliffhangery and rationed out in general.
Send emails asking for more regular B.E. content or at least ask the guy to say, open up a twitter or something to get more in touch with the communtiy:

Re: 3rd Art BE Videos

Way back when I seriously considered joining the site, but never did. Now, besides what everyone else is saying about lack of content, it seems rather easy for people to make their own equivalent material. 3D modeling programs have been getting cheaper and cheaper (a few decent ones were legally free at times last year) and easier and easier to use. Almost anyone who spends an hour or two figuring out the basics, can spend a single afternoon and little to no money, and make a BE scene of their own that is about 90% as good as anything on the site. I have seen how-to vids from a few talented individuals, who can throw something together in about 10 mins that would beat most of the vids at 3RD art.

I don't want the site to die or anything. I just feel that people are getting what they want more easily than before. If the site were to go belly up though, perhaps it could convert from selling vids, to selling 3D models for people to use for their own vids.

Agree, i was a member of 3rd-art.com but the owner must improve comunication with his community. I already try to speak with him and i got no response.
Just to say, I have a different vision on "piracy", in fact I decided to join the site after viewing one BE clip on Dailymotion.
I think that "matrix" it's a lazy guy and usually he prefer do something easy for easy money, but i also think that 3rd-art BE stuff are the best in whole internet.
Sorry for bad eng :P

I would never claim my taste as the holy arbiter of what's good or bad out there but, in general, I find his stuff far too over the top.

I love his stuff, but it's impossible to communicate with the guy. I had a legitimate issue with the site and got no help at all. No reaction towards a paying customer.
The place has really great content, but the actual BE is rare and the content comes in at a trickle.

I was a regular member, but I won't be going back. It's a bit sad, since I used to be a huge fan.

I've had a membership a few times. I always left feeling that although the content was great the monthly updates were not worth the price.

Re: 3rd Art BE Videos

Yeah. I subscribe once a year or so just to see what's new and then cancel. Not enough content to sustain a full membership - not when half the new videos are just updates on previous ones. That said, the real BE ones have been awesome - and the Bimbo TF one from a few years back is an all-time favorite.
