Apparently there is a newish Philippine soap opera called "Moon of Desire". According to its series summary it's about a woman who suffers from Hypertrichosis, but it seems like the series is coming toward and end next week and I guess the twist is that she and other characters are actually werewolves. I can't follow along because I don't know the language, but I did find a clip of the transformation. Edit: TF starts around 3:20 mark.

Not a bad find altogether, interesting enough to watch. Turned out bit cheesy, but guess we can't expect too much. Bummed her ears didn't change though (that gets overlooked/left out way too often)

My interest was piqued, but it turned out fairly underwhelming. With the show itself going with a "wolfman" style of werewolf, that didn't really leave the transformation with anywhere to go. The end result just looked like some dumb hairy chick that didn't even look much like a werewolf. Shame, because she was really selling the transformation. There just wasn't much substance there, imo.

Well, I have mixed thoughts about it. Yes, it is cheessy and has very few "werewolf" things. On the other side, I liked her acting, and how she was the centre of the episode... no nudity was expected (but there is some censorship there) but I just missed some foot shots. And, fortunately, they didn't treat the males' TFs like the female one. I am not a fan of hairy bad-breath guys, you know xD.

Well, it was hard to understand a lot of what they were saying with all the screaming and talking really fast, and not only that but it seems this would have been an ongoing plot so going off just the episode itself is hard to determine wth is going on. But from what I could decipher is that the two werewolf people are suspected of murder (not too uncommon for a horror werewolf film) and these other people in this what seems like a large nuclear family household are searching for them. Again, I'm sure what the whole premise is, but it could be that they are either servants, or that the girl is in love with one of the people hunting them. But the male werewolf is trying to hide the werewolf girl so that she won't be killed. And from the conflict between the two where it shows him trying to grab here to where she reacts "Let me go!" it could be that this is the girl's first full moon, and that the male is already a veteran werewolf, possibly the one who infected her. :shrugs:. That's pretty much what I've gotten so far as translation goes.

Did a little reading online. It's actually a fairly interesting premise. The heroine (Ayla) starts out as this popular but mysterious DJ who is famous for her sexy voice but is otherwise invisible to the public. As mentioned earlier, she hides because she has that rare condition that has left her covered in hair. A doctor finds her and treats her, of course revealing the beautiful woman underneath and they fall in love, much to the chagrin of his smitten colleague. I gather the normal soap opera/love triangle shenanigans ensue, but something else is going on as the usually shy and fragile Ayla begins to manifest unnatural abilities and a nasty temper. Enter "The Killer" Caleb, who is stalking her along with his cronies. He kidnaps her, and tells her that he is her long lost dad, and that like him she is half wolf and at the next full moon she will transform completely. Of course she doesn't want to believe him, but when she returns she has her doctor boyfriend (Jeff, the guy in the blue shirt who seems to be in charge of the other men) take a blood sample to have analyzed. Too little too late, it seems, as she then heads off to her birthday party where the wackiness we have all just seen ensues. So the male werewolf is her dad, trying to spirit her away before she hurts someone, as she lacks the training he and his pals have.

So it kind of starts out as a reverse "Beauty and the Beast" with a touch of Pygmalion thrown in, mixed with the premise of "Wolf Girl" except the subject ultimately regresses back to a full-fledged werewolf--or at least what passes for one. From this point on there's the usual Twilight-esque star crossed lover drama and a conflict between the good, non-violent werewolves (represented by Ayla's dad and his buds) and the more traditional, homicidal variety.

As low budget soap TFs go, I liked it. The actress is cute, there's lots of build up, a great contrast between the pretty girl dolled up for the party and the hairy savage she becomes. The actress really does a good job of carrying the weight of conveying the transformation, helped only by a quick CG nail/claw growth, a little dress ripping, and lighting and makeup. I notice she's also a lot more wolfy than her male counterparts, which I thought was interesting. A good find, I think.

The Addie Juniper one (along with the older one in her store) isn't terrible, but not great either. Almost nothing in the way of special effects, just fangs, fairly poorly executed clothes ripping, and growth. But if you like attractive females moaning and screaming while transforming, there is a lot worse out there.

The Bratty Chicks link, in my view, is an example of the worse. While there is a fair amount more in terms of special effects, they are very poor. Something like a 1/3 of the video is here reading some weird spell, like in the description. Not recommended at all.

Actually, Addie (and a handful of others) have been doing their "shewolf-ish" style vids for quite a bit longer than Missa. She just happens to be way better at it.

A blessing and a curse in some ways for the consumer I guess. Used to be Addie's thing would have been an instant buy for me; but as the bar has been raised now, I'm not that interested in them. Saves me cash. But also means longer waits for better stuff.

What the other producers need to learn from Missa is her constant drive to improve and change up her stuff. None of her shewolf vids have been anywhere near similar to each other. They are each their own animal (pun intended). Whereas many of the other stores put out the same cookie cutter style situations and shots multiple times. Yawn. Seen it. Done with it.
I would like to think I'm not the only one out there who has been holding back on buying these "new old" vids... and I'd like to think that the slump in sales might prod/prompt the producers to try some new stuff with the shewolf/TF theme. More than likely though they'd eventually just wander off and put their efforts into other less demanding corners of fetishism.

Well, the truth is that I really wanted to see some "competence" between producers, because that helps to improve the quality, make room for new ideas and so on. Anyway, I will keep an eye on clips4sale... I believe that there are some people out there with good potential.
