I contributed to their indiegogo campaign in order to get a copy of the movie, but as soon as they got a distributor to release the movie, they went radio silent on us. Sucks, but I'll find a way to snag a copy.

Sounds familiar. Were there any promises at least in the campaign for a TF scene?

Took the chance (hey, it's like 5 bucks, meh) and looked at the movie. TF wise it's a huge letdown, but still a solid werewolf B movie (gotta remember, this is low budget and this is a fetish group which is not the purpose of the filmmakers). Anyway, for posterity, here's the two female "TF" scenes I could get. Not much, but beggars can't be choosers.

Best werewolf transformation I've seen in a long time. I stumbled on it when someone posted it on DA and had to see the whole episode. If this can be done in a random show like Black Mirror, imagine what they could do if they put the effort into a real movie. Something that tells the whole story like in AAWL. Right now the best opportunity a show like "Wolf Like Me", if they can accomplish something like that with Mary it could go down as the best of all time

PS- Really happy to see this site back up, thought it was lost forever. :)

What we have in this scene is probably the best female werewolf transformation in mainstream media if I'm being honest. While it doesn't have everything one could hope for, it does have numerous elements that are rarely if ever show in female tfs at all, along with classic key elements that are essential.

You've got your beautiful young woman on all fours, scantily clad, sweating, and looking up at the full moon in fear. Pleading for onlookers to flee. Painful spasms, and writhing while moaning and screaming. Claws, fangs, feet lengthening, fur slowly covering sweaty flesh, bones crunching and clothes tearing. All this in addition to two rare elements in female tfs, chest barreling, and what is certainly the most detailed and intense muzzle growth in female tf history. Details of her breasts becoming flat and her chest barreling out are more noticeable with the camera flashes left in. In the darker edit it wasn't clear that the front of her shirt is what was tearing apart, but in the original it's pretty obvious that's what it was. That's something you virtually never see in mainstream stuff.

Really only a few changes would I ever dare say it needs to be perfect.

1. More details on the ears changing.
2. Werewolves should have tails, and it would have been amazing to see her grow one.
3. Nipples, the human ones fading away as the chest flattens and rows of wolf teats popping into existence on the abdomen, but understandable that this detail is almost always left out.

This scene is just a fucking gem, and seeing something like this come so unexpectedly from a show that doesn't really delve into this territory is amazing. It gives me hope for the female werewolf genre again.

It isn't much but some of the implied TF in season 1 had a reasonable amount of value so I'm hoping for at least that. An actual featured TF without full cutaway would be the dream, though.

Nice! Let us know how it is! It's playing in my area but I'm too awkward to want to go to a theater just to see fetish material, so I'll have to wait for VOD myself.

While we may get cheated out of the goods process wise, I know I've heard from early reviews details like "werewolf suit", "ripping out of parachute pants" and "wakes up naked", all of which suggest we're getting a genuine werewolf and not just a chick with fangs and contacts.

Yeah. Most of us know better than to get our hopes up, especially with some obscure low budget project.

There have been a couple surprisingly good TFs this year, and because we generally aren't allowed many nice things... this next one's probably going to be underwhelming. As always I'd love to be wrong about that. But I think that Black Mirror werewolf TF used up all the good luck we had accumulated for the foreseeable future.

Totally agree, Black Mirror gave us one of the best female werewolf TFs ever. Moreover, if you go here: https://www.lbbonline.com/news/frame...sode-mazey-day
this invites to optimism for the near future: an affordable and replicable way to make good werewolf transformations that could be reused many times, for example for a series. The usage of a "digital twin" of the actress will let create some nice stuff in the near future, for sure :).

Not sure if this was already posted, but there is a comic book/audio series called “Tales From Davidstown” that features a female werewolf coming to terms with her condition. I wish it was more than just a comic book and audio series, but confusingly (and awesomely), there are some live-action TF clips in the trailer, including a hot shot of her back expanding. You can view the trailer here:

Here’s the Patreon if you’re interested in listening to the series and seeing the comic-book adaptation:

Hopefully, they get enough Patrons that they decide to actually film a full TF. The actress is really cute, too!

Yeah, I'm also surprised to see some live action clips from them myself. Everything I had saw in the past was photo-manips, audios, and comics. I may give them a cursory re-follow to see if they've announced plans for something on a larger scale.

Well, to the moment they have done some filming probably as advertisement feature. I am actually in their Patreon, and the stuff is currently limited to audios and comics. Unfortunately they have stopped to make photomanipulations, but from time to time they make one or two again for promotional purposes.
Will they film something? Well, maybe some day, but for me it is clear that you do need the number of suscribers like Rose Crowley actually has, else it is not feasible in the long run if you want to make quality videos, at least better than the ones one can actually purchase in C4S just to name one of "those" sites.

It’s a shame. The actress is super attractive, and she doesn’t seem to mind getting on all fours half (or fully) nude to perform a TF scenario, not to mention the guys behind this whole project have special-effects skills, judging by the other videos on their YouTube channel and, again, that fantastic shot of her back expanding. Even though it was really short, it was exactly how I imagine it happening during a TF. Here’s hoping they change their minds about not doing a full live-action TF. If they do, I’ll be throwing money at them.

Circling back to the "Tales from Davidstown" patreon, they made a post acknowledging the snippets of footage they showed in the trailer, and confirmed that there have been preliminary discussions about filming some live action content. They did stress that these were early discussions, and noted that more info would possibly come later. They did, however, also include a poll to gauge interest for which of the currently released episodes people would theoretically like to see adapted into film form.

All in all, I think we're a long ways away from seeing something on that scale from them (Would likely be well into next year), but it's intriguing to see them confirm that those plans are potentially being made.

I joined their Patreon just to read that announcement. (I was only able to read the first snippet since I wasn't a member.) Looks like I should've just waited a few days to read your post, but honestly, I don't regret joining. Any support to help them--even potentially--make a live-action TF is worth it in my book. They seem to have the effects skills, and, again, that actress is exactly my type. Hopefully, it's just a matter of time.

Nice. My only concern is that it seems that she's going to be pregnant during the series, and that single thing hinders the chance to have a good TF scene onscreen. I mean, preggies are "protected group" when writing a script for a movie or some series, like kids and (since John Wick) doggies.
BTW, thank you for the heads-up buddy!

To expand on my quote above, this series was a disappointment in season 1 not solely because it didn't have any process. Rather, the special effects studio they hired released a ton of BTS stuff showing the gorgeous animatronic wolf they built, and used in the last episode. It was so high quality that it begged the question as to why it wasn't used in other aspects of the show.

The director was later quoted in an interview, saying that he wanted to show as little of the werewolf as possible in the first season. It's a decision I don't agree with, even outside of niche interests. The show doesn't try to hide from the plot point of Mary being a werewolf, or try to sow uncertainty in whether she actually is. We are told from the beginning what she is, and her having to deal with her condition is a major plot point of the story. So, what is gained by hiding that from the audience for 90 percent of the season? One of my main criticisms of the show was that it's supposed to be a genre-blending effort, yet really put the horror aspect on the backburner, in favor of the drama. I'm not advocating for a much darker, more grim tone; however, it lacked real balance in marrying the two genres, imo.

Fast forward to the trailer, and what I pointed out. The effects on that muzzle shot are fantastic. But, based on the history of how things have been presented in this show, there is a real chance that this is all we see for the entire season. There are other moments hinted at in the trailer where the male lead interacts with the fully transformed wolf, which gives us a slight chance for more. Ultimately, though, my expectations are very low for this. I would love, if not hope, to be pleasantly surprised with it in the end.
