Or you can say there's the option of paying in six month increments that works out to a much smaller bill of 100$ per year. I can't justify spending that amount on an off-chance hope that of the 12 to 30 plus comics generated per year, I find something that I really enjoy. The BE Story Club got real smart allowing for individual purchases. Yet there's no one (that I know of) doing independent detailed reviews. These "Official Update" threads with the cover image and a paragraph synopsis rarely gets my interest. Now, when I saw Annie and the Blow-up Dolls I was interested because I'm a huge sucker for Josse and the Pussy Cats. Yet from what I read, the story was basic... I don't recall much about it other than the classic 'protagonist-standing-at 3/4-profile-after-getting-bean-bag-supersized-with-a-look-of-shock' pose. (In BE Comics or Fiction) I cannot recall when the last time I saw a multiple panel growth sequence, or a well thought make-out scene, or the protagonist trying to fit into her now smaller clothes, or some intense dialogue where the protagonist is talking about her growth and wanting more. But I am out of the loop. Right now for five bucks Patreon covers my BE https://www.patreon.com/2hebubble/posts That is where I am at now. Then there the sad fact that not a lot people are into BE any more. The activity on these types of forums is barely anything. I'm not pining about the 'old days' I've just figured individuals have moved on. |

Blake, I have one coming where the boobs start growing on page 3 or 4 and don't stop for the rest of the piece. Didn't fit in anyone struggling into suddenly too small clothes, but that's in the story after that.
If you want the girl who want big boobs, gets them, and still wants more... Well for some reason Bot Comics put Pics or GTFO out as a Bimbo Story Club title. In spite of the complete lack of bimbo. Their pricing structure may be be better, but not super smart all of the time. |

It came across to me that the most import aspect of the render was to show the beginning and middle and end boob size. As much as it pains me admit, a comic that did it really well was SRU Dream Girl with the initial transformation scene involving the main protagonist. It started with her becoming slender, her boobs continued to change as she walked up to the head of the class to do the math problem. She did the math problem and the changes progressed and then impacted her work on the backboard. Then when she returned to her seat her final transformation ended with sly commentary from the two main characters . Before anyone goes to far and expresses that the term 'Damaged' is too harsh, please listen to the book. The loss of some of these individuals was real tragic, many times through no fault of their own. My point: in erotic fiction give your protagonists a little 'damage'. |

As to the McCloud comparisons (I love understanding and Making) I try to have mine be as much Action as Moment, but script constraints sometimes force me to keep the panels simpler. I have one upcoming on ExpansionFan centered on multibreast and BE where the growth starts on page 3 and doesn't stop until the last page, all while the main characters are ranging over half a castle trying to find a way to stop it. I think that might have what you're looking for. Haven't had a chance to listen to the link yet, but I'm interested to hear their definition of "damaged", since I feel like there needs to be less fetish content where the end result feels like a tragedy... Finally, looking forward to seeing what you've got cooking at EFan. Will this be your first foray on the site, or have you done anything for them before? |

Video games are where the disconnect is very, very noticeable. Scoring of games ran through a stretch a while back, and may still be as bad, where on a scale of 1-5, no matter how bad the game was it never got below 4 because, as Blake pointed out, if you scored a bomb like a bomb, you were removed from the approved critics list. Game over for your career.
This meant for any read to apply any sanity to the scoring you had to hope for a decimal treat the scoring as a rating of 1-10 according to the following formula: actualRating = (givenRating - 4) * 10 So Shitwaggon Warriors at 4.2 was actually 2 out of 10. And until you realized this, you bought a lot of shitty games because how bad could a 4.2 out of 5 game be? That's like 84%. Almost an A+. Video game ratings had zero credibility. I don't play much these days, too busy writing porn, so maybe they still have zero credibility. For a while if you name wasn't Siskel or Ebert, your movie rating had zero credibility. You couldn't afford to talk shit about a shitty movie because you were cut off, and when you're grubbing nickles together to feed your family on a writer's salary, you cannot afford that. If on the other hand, you are reviewing because you love it and have an alternate revenue stream on the side, you can do whatever you want. It's nice. Personal opinion. I don't read a lot of porn. It does nothing for me. This is precisely why I started writing stuff. Practically no one writes what I want to read. No one makes videos I want to watch. You could give it to me free, and I probably still wouldn't bother reading it. |

There have been some valid points brought up regarding reviews given in exchange for free content. Just to be clear, we don't offer any incentive like that for the Fan sites. I always welcome people to leave reviews of our comics if they feel the need to; the feedback might help us improve future productions.
That being said, I don't expect each and every comic issue to appeal to each individual's taste. It just isn't possible to please everyone given the fact that kink preferences vary widely from person to person, even within a micro-niche community. For example, we might publish a comic where a character experiences growth of "epic proportions" -- pleasing a fair amount of the readers but at the same time alienating a reader who admires less drastic growth. Perhaps we hit every point and box (in terms of story and fetish content) for our fans, yet the art style may be "Western" and not "manga" as some people are into. It's essential that the comics we produce be written by fans of the genre. The entire reason I started making these comics was to fill a need I had that wasn't being covered by other content producers. That's not to say their work was bad (quite the contrary)... it just rarely checked all my boxes, so to speak. For that reason I invite fans to submit their own pitches, scripts and illustration requests. |
