I didn't think that it would even come up, considering this was the first time I had seen something like that, but when I checked the artist's DA, turns out that he had actually done this before. These are a bit older, but convey the idea the same way:

Ash and May from Pokemon: http://fav.me/d7oy0tc
Luffy and Coby from One Piece: http://fav.me/d7oy0u8
Nami from One Piece: http://fav.me/d7py50f

Thank you, I didn't know they had a Deviant Art. Makes it so much easier to now favorite them :D

Thought you guys might like to see a pic I commissioned that was just finished recently:

Thanks to Melkorios for giving me motivation to approach Case Scenario to try and get this going. I'll try and get another Toon TF pic with a more Jessica Rabbit vibe when I find another artist that I want to see give this TF a shot.

Ummm... yeah. Just go up a couple dozen posts in this very thread and he says so himself.

A lot of his stuff is posted on this thread, and he has a DA page under joeengland. Beyond that, you'd have to ask him.

Macguffin78 on Deviantart has some stuff along these lines in their gallery, including some very good process pages by Kyo-Domesticfucker.

Also in Excalibur #18, Kitty Pryde and Captain Britain enter an anime dimension and their appearances change accordingly. They also encounter an expy of the "Dirty Pair":

I know it was a different time, and anime/manga was not as big in the US as it is now, but damn. That Excalibur issue looks more like the "dollar store, how to draw anime book" dimension.
