Well, that really wasn't surprising. I was hoping for a bit more process, but at least it's not completely absent.

My thoughts exactly. D2 had a much better process but at least they followed through. Not much of a twist everyone knew this was coming.

Sort of ended like the Lion King...

What did surprise me was that Tyrael's human form looks a lot like the Paladin from D2. Oh, and that we kill Diablo at the end... which was to be expected...

Isn't "we kill Diablo at the end" kinda like "there are ghosts in pac-man"? :)

Also happened in a episode of Beast Wars. First season i think. Tarantulas brainwashes Rinox and he almost takes leadership of the predicons form Megatron. It was however a stand alone episode but it set foreshadowing for what happened with him later in beast machines.

Also i believe a episode of the original GI Joe had something similar with Scarlet or maybe Lady J. and one in a episode of Captain Planet too. But that could just be fuzzy childhood memories.

I made another one of those stupid corruption things and I couldn't think of a witty salutation to introduce it.

Picked this up off the weekly Sun 2chan thread.

I ask Google what it was from and IT explained it is from a PS2 game called Vampire Panic. Apparently VP is not a very popular game. Pixiv cares very little for it. Youtube knew a bit but the particular playthroughs cared nothing for the details (Corruption)

Basic premise is a Vampire is preying on a town and 3 vampire hunters arrive to stop him. The heroes and heroine much fight through monster to rescue the townsfolk from said monsters and vampire(s). Interesting enough if you beat it you get to play the Vampire Side. Playing this you basically go about preying on bystanders and seem to get a drop down list on what to do with the drained corpses of men, women, and children (children seem to be delicacies...creepy) Some choices include charm, others some form of ghoulification, and a few that hint at vampires. Pretty dark and intersting given the fact the cliched anime video game vampire character basically can corrupt anyone including the heroine though Youtube denies whether or not this fact is indeed Fact as it does not show a video of such a transformation just ryona.

Great concept.

Rather bummed I can't find out more on the heroine Mary's bad end fate. Looks pretty cool...

Unfortunatly a lot of PS2 games look like PS1 games. The companies either thought it was cheaper to make them that way, did not see the graphical potential of the system, they just did not care, or lacked the resources to implement such graphics. A shame too. Many PS2 games had several opportunities for corruption tf.

Most part it seems to paralyze victims during the vampire plot and to complicate things on the hunter plot - The hunters are suppose to rescue the hostages and in some situations charmed hostages fight them...
