Ey? What exactly is the problem you have with OC? Does it whitescreen on startup? Crash a lot WHILE drawing? Is your tablet plugged in when you open it?

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Well, it'll completely disable my mouse if I tried to use my tablet at all (as in, no more mouse till restart), hard lock my system if I tried to draw too much, could only connect one way (I had join a sever, not able to make one. This made actually drawing a problem since I was the only one that was going to be drawing). Thats about the easiest ones to remember.

But like I said, it might have fixed it's self since then. If I remember correctly, I might have even reinstalled my OS since then. Never really know. ^^;

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

What brand is your tablet, and do you have the correct drivers installed?

Also, if you have multiple drivers installed, that might be causing the problem too. Check under Control Panel > Add Remove Programs to see if there is more than one tablet driver.

Maybe try with different versions:

http://soty.tfcentral.com/opencanvas-b68.exe
http://soty.tfcentral.com/openCanvasb71.exe
http://soty.tfcentral.com/openCanvas11b72.exe

Also, the server issue might be caused by a router. If you HAVE a router, you MUST either know how to port-forward, or use a VPN software like Hamachi to host a session.

To test this, try bypassing your router and plugging directly into your modem (if possible) and see if you can host then.

I would only try that for testing and not use it for a permenant solution, though. Your router provides a lot of protection from worms and the like. It could also plausibly be an over zealous firewall.

It's all from the late forties. I didn't like not being able to continue after winning.

Also I want to make a gut who uses only a flame thrower. And have the "theme song" played constantly whilst in combat.

Still a bit of a Fallout 3 drought of drawing. Mostly because while playing the game and having a blast, I have zero inspiration to actually draw. So really, all you're missing is low quality drawings like this one. ^^;

Anyways, something I wanted to touch on way back when I watched a bunch of Keroro Gunso eps, in the first ep Fuyuki has a nightmare where his sister gets, well, melted. I personally have no qualms on melting people, as long as they're not harmed in doing so. :3

...and now for something completely different. ^^;

Here's a bit of a sketch up of the character Franken Fran. Some might remember a bit of process comic which she starred in. Here's a good place to read her exploits. A MAJOR WARNING, these comics are VERY gory and in a lot of cases much more sadistic then normally in comics like this... which might make you ask, why then did I draw this character? After all, a character like this should be considered quite terrible in my own views. Well, she is rather bad, maybe a bit too innocent of her own doing, but still kinda bad, right? Well, you might be a bit surprised to know that she isn't actually too different from myself. No, not a direct connection that means I'm actually a twisted mutilator of living beings, but that she has some quality's that I myself have, sometimes shown off in the process work I do. Quality's that I don't actually see very often at all, not even in the process community. I'll just leave that at that, so as not to instill any undo terror in misunderstandings. :)

Anyways, this took up ALL the sketch time to do, oddly the finer details that would have taken me the most time to do took the least, but the very things I pride myself on, the face and more importantly the eyes, were almost impossible to do and in the end, I got something that looked good enough and just kept that. Still, she doesn't look much like she should. Personally, I don't know if that's something I'm not happy with, or happy I couldn't duplicate. ^^;

All in all, the character herself is twisted, sadistic and hides behind a veil of innocence before her true motives are revealed. And for some reason, I LIKE her character. Go figure. :)

tl;dr version: I drawed sketch of character from gory manga series. Hurrra. :)

Uhm... <_<;

So I slept through the time I was going to take my shower and it's too late at night to have one anymore. That has nothing to do with the following, I just thought I needed to post something other then sketch! quip! bold text! :)

So I sketched something up, someone actually. She was pondering, so I decided to name her Ponder. Then I realized I couldn't just leave it at that, so I started another drawing of her... and... uhm... I have no idea how this sprang up. <_<; Sadly I wasn't paying attention to the clock for the second sketch and I'm rather sure it wasn't done in the time limit, so I can't really count it as a quickie sketch. ^^;

Anyways, sketches for tonight (quickie and normal):
