I didn't mean to go off the handle like that, but its just simply annoying when people just don't "want" to understand how a person feels and what they will or won't do. Its like they're thinking, "Maybe this time he'll say yes! Maybe!" I'm all for wishful thinking, but it's just not gonna happen when someone has a strong philosophy for what they want to draw and show to the public.

Without spoiling much, you have the right idea. The size is moreso on the actual pool instead of points (so expect a Demo-tan BE comic someday when I'm not lazy).

Guess I'll de-lurk for a minute to post my 2 cents on the whole nipples argument...

Matt, first of all, I'd like to say that your art is awesome, and I'm not just trying to suck up to you when I say that. I watch a lot of other artists on DeviantArt, among other places, that draw busty female characters, and I can honestly say that you're one of my favorites, because your style is very light-hearted and appealing, yet also very sexy. Hell, I've even fapped to some of your pictures of Mattie because I thought they were hot, and as gross as that will probably sound to you, I mean that as a sincere comment; there's a lot of busty anime girl drawings I've seen that I wouldn't do so to simply because the art style is too off-putting or poorly done to me, and not just in the breasts (Blue Eyes hentai series, for example - the girls' faces look HORRIBLE). And just to put things in perspective, one of my friends who has been taking art courses in college even told me how great works like the statue of Venus de Milo in the Louvre are starting to get stains simply from so many people THROUGHOUT TIME fapping to it, simply because Aphrodite/Venus was the goddess of love and was a huge symbol of sexuality.

That said, if your art is going to delve into the realms of BE, cowgirls, and big anime boobs in general, people ARE going to see it as catering to specific fetishes. Sure, you can lay down the law when it comes to what you want to draw, but if you're already knee-deep in that sort of territory, people are just going to expect nipples to be on the breasts in one way or another - it's just part of the anatomy, "cow pasties" to cover them up or not (no offense, but they DO look kinda ridiculous, albeit cute and funny... but if your girls' boobs are meant to bust out of her shirt, what's the point of covering them? Sorry but I don't understand that...). And even if you decide not to draw nipples on your female characters, keep in mind that some people DO like to take other peoples' work and attempt to alter them, Rule #34 and all. (don't worry, I suck at drawing/Photoshopping, and I don't believe in stealing other people's art in the first place)

But anyway, what I'm trying to say is that, as an artist, it's good to try different approaches sometimes, even though that may just translate to you as "draw the nipples on the boobs so we can fap moar to them." Just keep in mind that are many tasteful ways to draw nudes, so you could still keep the same lighthearted/cute style (which is awesome, btw. :3) Hell, you could even take baby steps if you wanted, like just drawing a few "bump" lines on her clothes next time to show that they're at least there, or just draw one single image of her with her "cow pasties" off every so many pageviews to satisfy some of your fans, or just charge people money for requests/commissions if they want to see the nipples (dunno if you draw mostly for fun or if it's a career, just throwing ideas out). I'm sure you could come up with something.

Regardless of what you do though, I hope you understand my view on this and don't see me solely as a pervert who likes big boobs (even though I do love them, lol... I wouldn't be on these forums if I didn't) and as someone who's just trying to offer his honest opinion. That, and more importantly, I hope you keep on drawing awesome Mattie artwork, with or without the nipples!

He does do bump lines. And he probably doesn't want to do nipples because he doesn't want his art to just be fap material, no matter how "cute" it is once you start uncovering everything, and using a fetish, that's what it becomes. What other people want to do with his work isn't his business, just because people like to draw batman and robin having sex with each other doesn't mean a comic book creator is going to start doing it.

He does plenty of boobs and BE for his "fans" who like that stuff too.

Matt does tend to react slightly aggressively to people who bring up anything he doesn't like, such as me with Kaiji or anyone who mentions nipples, but that could be because he's heard them *so much*.

tetsaru: Don't worry about the fapping; boobs in general tend to lead to that, especially if it's fetish-based. But like candyking said, I do draw nipple bumps (not 24/7 though). I use the pasties with Mattie only, actually. If I draw girls popping out of their shirts later, there won't be pasties, but I'll cover them some other way (scraps of shirt, hair strands, remnants of bra, hand/arm, etc). 34 doesn't present a problem for me since it's not drawn by me. :P

candyking: Yeah, I don't want it to be purely fap material. Kills the appeal for me. Not saying I hate people who do draw nudity or like it, but just that I'd personally rather not draw it. I'm the kind of guy that finds barely covered breasts in a bikini more exciting than fully exposed ones. Like, you want what you don't have, but when you have it, you don't want it as much anymore. And I apologize if I came across as stingey at the Kaiji thing. I don't draw that (the show ended a long while ago), so it just seemed kinda obscure to ask for.

I'm quoting this because its quite true. The act of teasing a nipple slip or the possibility of nipples being shown, but never will be, is honestly a better feeling than having nipples right then and there. Its the anticipation and hope that it will come, but you know it won't no matter how hard you want it. Then when the nipples are actually shown, the feeling is great at first, but then it only goes down hill from there. You slowly, deep down, want them to be covered again cause the feeling isn't the same anymore.
