This could be interesting, I remember watching the original trailer for Cursed (2005) and there was a scene of a female werewolf transformation (Judy Greer), that wasn't in the movie. Well, it looks like it exists.

Check out the original trailer at the 2:06 mark

Now many have seen this already, but this is what she would have looked like if not for avoiding an "R" rating on the film.

Pretty sure there is a great transformation out there somewhere. Unfortunately it's in the Weinstein Company so unless leaked probably won't see the light of day, but it does exist. Can only hope 13 years later we get it out there.

Man, man! A lost piece of film history! I hope anyone can track down that original cut.

The eventual tagline for Cursed: "Beware the full moon."

The original was much better: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

It was decent overall. But hey, I will always be a Wes Craven mark.

Oh man, I was about to post about this... yes, maybe somewhere there IS a small TF jewell covered with dust. I'd kill to have a look on it, sure!! Anyway, are you sure this is the original trailer? Because the TF addressed there is clearly the CGI one and not the one Rick Baker would make for sure ;).

Enticing, but seems unlikely to have enough clout to actually come out, unlike something along the lines of Blade Runner. Alternatively the original cut of Cursed could be just as bad, but bad in a different way.

Too bad this was never a real thing:

Just a slight reversion at the end. Some blood and claws.

Looks like an ad for a alternative film festival. And it's downloadable.

For those with too much time on their hands, there is a behind the scenes.

Dang, that was really cool! Wish it was an actual movie and not just a teaser for a film fest.

Yep, the woman was beautiful, indeed.

Not really a content update, but I ran across this article today and thought I'd share as it's pertinent (but not really news to any of us).

I agree with the article, but nudity issues in American morality system is not a minor player there, too. A naked guy can be seen even in shows for kids (I mean, at least butt naked, leave full frontals for HBO :P), but a woman's nipple is worse than simulated sex, foul language or gore.

I don’t think the anti-nudity angle is as bad as you say it is, since you’ve mentioned this several times (though, to be fair, nudity in movies was a lot more lax in the ‘70s and early ‘80s than today). Just this week, I finally caught up with the Showtime series “Kidding,” and Judy Greer was topless in a few scenes. I mention this because, as most here are painfully aware, Judy was the werewolf in “Cursed” over 10 years ago and was supposed to feature in a Rick Baker-designed transformation scene until he was inexplicably fired and the scene was swapped with 100% CGI. (Also, the movie switched from an R rating to PG-13.) And now we learned in the past week that there is a complete (or near complete) copy of the original version of “Cursed,” and if the werewolf photos leaked by Baker himself on Twitter years ago are any indication, it seems most of that scene was shot. I didn’t think Greer would agree to nudity until I saw “Kidding” this week, leading me to believe there could be a so-called “holy-grail” Rick Baker female-werewolf TF featuring nudity locked in the Miramax vault somewhere. Let’s storm the gates!
