Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

8 Attachment(s)
Yes, it has come at last! With the recent change to attempt to draw at least one quickie sketch every day, I have decided to start posting said sketches directly to the process forums. Also some people might not look at my DA, so a lot of time they never see some of the quickie sketches I do. For instance, the first five sketches are quickie sketches done before, but posted to DA. The other three, however, are new new new. :)

All sketches start out on a 1500x2000 pixel page and go for 10 to 20 mins at the very MAX. 10 to 15 is the usual though. If I can get more then one subject in the pic I might extend the time an extra 5 mins or so, but usually that's not the case.

So, what can you do in this thread other then just leech? Well a lot of the times I quickie sketch without a single idea to go with, so the best way to force a sketch is forcing a rule for that sketch, like no short hair, no big boobs but sexy, animal only, so on. No specifics, just a general rule to go by. That's what you can do, think up a good rule and post it, AFTER commenting on the sketches before it that is. :) After all, I'm only in this for the comments. ;)

Well then, lets get this thread started! :D I'll just name the sketches instead of saying what I was going for, because usually, I wasn't going for anything. Also titles can say a lot on their own. :)

Attached, in this order is:

DA stuff:
Random Boy To Cat Girl
Bound BE
Down
Preg Faerie Another One
A Swell Dress

NEW Stuff:
Making An Ace
Shrooma
Showered

Enjoy and see you tomorrow at the latest. :)

I think my favorite from that set is "Down". :)

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

The thumbs-up is the most meaningfully heroic thing a person can do and for that, my favorite is the person in the background of "Random Boy To Catgirl". :p

Ha, but really, a very colorfully diverse lineup so far, Test. The preg fairy strikes again and even some, what, divine BE thrown in there? Your shroom girls always get a gold star from me and as usual, your expressions are very cute and meaningful. :D

Test-0 08-23-2008 11:23 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Hee hee, thank you. :3 Thumbs up is truly the best possible way to express awesome, which I would think a TG TF into a catgirl like that would just have to be. :) The hands are in fact 'helping' the bound woman to escape the bonds on her. But if you look, you'll see that her arms are wrapped up at her belly as well, guess they'll have to do something with that as well if they REALLY want to help her out. ;) As for Down, well, it's just plain fun. :D

Personally the cat girl for just plain good looks and the swell dress for fun sloshing fun fun are my favs from the batch. Obvious reasons for the second. :3

Yet another great batch of sketches x3

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Thank you. :)

I'm a bit miffed that only three people total have visited the thread so far though(no I don't count leechers as people). I mean, even Soy hasn't been here yet and one of the newer sketches was one of HIS ideas. :|

Well, all sketches posted in this thread go up on DA the day after, mostly so I can get an actual response for them (which is really sad). So I guess expecting actual responses to anything I post here anymore is about as stupid as expecting people not to spam post all the time. Nice to know that content is subsided for the inane chat about someones favorite food item on a forum made for the transformations of the female variety.

All very nice, test-0. You rock as usual. I think I like Random boy to catgirl and down the best. Rammed is cute too.

I like that tree TF from the new set. :)

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Yes, it's a fav for me as well. :) Best part was, it was the easiest one to draw and took the least time to do, despite being the best detailed and bets looking. The one that took the most was Rammed. ^^;

Oh, to add to the post, anyone have any 'rules' for me to follow by for tonight's sketches as the first post had suggested? :)

TF-Viewer 08-25-2008 06:35 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

A rule? Hmm... shrinking only? That work?

Test-0 08-25-2008 06:39 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

That could work, if I mix it up. :) Shrinking only is good since I don't actually do a lot of it. But usually the rules are non specific. Like long hairs only, or no front views, freckles only, no straight lines, so on. :)

TF-Viewer 08-25-2008 06:47 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Oh sorry, I wasn't sure what the rules for setting the rules were :p I was just going off how one of the examples was "animal only" and substituted animal with shrinking.

Test-0 08-25-2008 06:52 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

It's ok. :) No specifics mean nothing specific, like someone trying to get nothing but BE pics is specific, but one where the rules say head size boobs would work as it doesn't have to be BE. :) No process only rules, no specific character only rules (stuff like anime only, or series only are a no, school girl or sports women only would work). :)

TF-Viewer 08-25-2008 06:54 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Oh okay, gotcha. :)

Test-0 08-25-2008 06:59 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Well, if any one else wants to add a rules to tonight I can either split the rules to separate sketches or, if compatible, mix them for em together. Still a bit early for quickie sketches so any ideas might as well bring them up.. As long as you've posted something on the stuff posted in the thread before hand that is. :)

Here's a rule: Anything the victim has one of, guve them two. Anything they have two of, give them one or three. :D

Awwwwwww the Ram one is adorable, I like the wool outfit. :3

Rule: Must be a clear and logical appearance or disappearance of mass.

Two for one and more then two for two? Could be interesting, though I like the rule of two for one, has a nice ring for it, and can mean the whole rule idea as well, as long as you don't count a pair as a single. :) I won't bother saying you have to say something about the sketches first though, as you are you, and it's already what you did anyways. :)

So, rules that I can use right now would be:
shrinking
two for one

I'd say I could do something with those. :)

Oh hey, logical appearance and disappearance of mass! Now those are interesting. Add those to the list. :)

So, lets see, I'll use shrinking, two for one and one of KGs for sketches. If any other rules pop in while I'm sketching I'll likely do a fourth sketch for tonight. For now this is a good haul. Don't stop posting the ideas though, there are 365 days in a year and if I keep doing quickies daily I'll need at least one rule for every day, so remember to say something about the sketches and then make your own rule. :D

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

hmm, so we basically just put a vague idea and you try to incorporate it?

So would me saying "Dancer" work as a rule?

Test-0 08-25-2008 09:11 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Kinda. It's not a try and incorporate, it's I HAVE to do it. It's a rule and it doesn't have to directly do anything TO what I'm drawing, it could be the way I have to go about drawing it. For instance, the no straight lines one means I can draw whatever I want, but it can't have any straight lines in it at all. As long as it's a rule that has to be followed, some times a good rule can span a few sketches, other times a rule is better off just being for one sketch. Something like circles only could work, but very likely be unusable, but saying three circles and a square, and I would have to make the basic shapes of the sketch those. :)

Wow, the disappearance of mass one was great. It reminds me of the clothing TFs you did before (which I loved btw).

Test-0 08-26-2008 02:20 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

I think it's the look. I usually do a less 'casual' look for people when, say, their limbs go missing, so something like this where her limbs disappear and all you get is a seductive look goes a long way. Also might be what you don't see that makes it fun. For instance, she's not wearing any underwear. ;)

Clothing tfs, though, are fun and hard to think of without repeating the same thing over and over. Which is why I took a break from them before I did the sequence. Since the tf is not a partial (like leaving their eyes on the bra or face on the shirt so on) I have to work on making it still look like the person at least in fallen form. ^^;

So, anyone got any new rules to pop in with tonight? It's early, so you have plenty of time. :)

mmm tasty spicy blood. Haha sorry about that test-0. Those look pretty cool there too.

SoylentOrange 08-26-2008 02:36 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Slide Rule: If something gets bigger, something else has to get smaller. Want long legs? Get short arms. Bigger breasts? Smaller butt. Etc...

Stripes: There must be both vertical and horizontal stripes ina pic. And they can't overlap, no plaids or checks.

Stretch: Nothing in the pic can be the original/normal size. Every feature needs to be either bigger or smaller than normal, from limbs to eyes to breasts.

Oooooooo the Two for One pic came out nice, I liked how her undies snapped and fell off her. :3

Test-0 08-26-2008 05:13 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Well, when I said plenty of time to make up some rules, I kinda lied. I'll be doing quickie sketches earlier tonight. In an hour actually. :) So, I'll use one of Soys, and see if anyone else comes up with any otherwise I'll just draw whatever or just use an example rules for them. :)

Oh, and make sure the rules don't need heavy explanations. Single three to four word rules are the requirement, adding an explanation makes things specific which is not for rules. :) For instance one of Soys rules, Slide Rule -> Equivalent exchange. Same rule, no explanations needed. To get something, you must loose something of equal size. :) You can try to explain what you mean with the words of the rules, but if the rule it's self has to have the explanation then I can't use it. :)

Another idea I had, instead of a rule, you can say the 'Name' of the sketch, and I work with that instead. Look at the names of the ones already posted to get an idea for what is and isn't a good idea. :)

SoylentOrange 08-26-2008 05:16 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Er... so I should or shouldn't explain what I mean with my rules? ^^;

Test-0 08-26-2008 05:24 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Nope, no explanations, just the rule. So if you have to be specific on what you mean, use specific words only. If you use a word or phrase that needs an explanation then you can, but the rules have to stay as they are, short and sweet. :)

TrumanGrace 08-26-2008 05:29 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

so can I repeat the "dancer" rule and have that as the name of the sketch? Or do you still need a rule?

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

The inner tube girl is cute, and the football player is a fun idea, too! The proportional stuff, unfortunately, isn't really my cup of tea.

Test-0 08-26-2008 07:36 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Yeah, with the proportions bit, it ended up looking too much like other stuff I've done, and it's actually harder to make something that was there smaller then it is to make it gone entirely. ^^;

Oh, something else I should ask generally. Should I wait longer then a day before posting the stuff here to DA? The reason why I post it there is for the comments they would give that I get less of here. But Doing so also makes it a lot less process only and more, just wait a day for the goods. ^^;

TrumanGrace 08-26-2008 07:38 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

yeah, the proportion thing doesnt' do anything for me. Then again, you can tell it was a Soy request.

The football one did give me an idea for a rule for next time, though.

I think when the characters are completely into the idea of making themselves nothing but a pair of giant boobs, it strikes people as a SoylentOrange kind of thing. ;)

Pretty much, if it's "hey, here's nothing but a gigantic rack" picture on this forum, there's a good 70% chance Soy was involved :P

Well hey, I didn't ask Test to focus solely on her boobs! I was hoping for some long legs, maybe even a bit of a stomach-stretcher, not just "lol boobs." If I'd wanted that I would have straight-up asked for it.

I've said before that BE is like salt- you can add it to just about anything and make it better. But salt by itself hardly counts as a meal. >.>

I tend to think it's the opposite, but let's not get hung up on the likes or dislikes of our various, erm, likes or dislikes.

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Nice new batch, Test! That exchange idea is wacky and the inner tube one is prefectly sweet and serene, ha, but what's the deal with the football player? I'd think it was a victory dance, but she seems a little shocked.. is she dancing of her own volition? Either way, that does give me an idea for a rule if you'd like. I noticed she's on her tip-toe there (looks sidelong at Soy. :D) and that made me think ballet which made me think of flexibility. So, how 'bout flexibility?

Or y'know, if you wanted to take tip-toes or ballet as a rule, I'd have no qualms. None whatsoever. :)

Heh, I'm sorry, Soy. :p Yeah, there's a bolt loose up there. As soon as I figure out how to tighten it, you'll be the first to know.

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Hey hmmm! :) Thanks for the comment. :3 Flexibility sounds like a fun one to play with actually. I'll put that one to the test. :D

I think Truman had an idea from that one too. Neat. :) I'll give him a chance to post his idea before I start some quickie sketches. Likely only two for tonight, slept all of today. ^^; So a second rule or title from Truman would made for a good set. I'll be drawing in about an hour or so, or whenever I catch Trumans post. Whichever. :)

TrumanGrace 08-27-2008 08:01 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

ooh, heh, yeah, right.

My idea for a rule was a bit different. Numbers. Numbers must be incorporated into the drawing somehow. Of course, I could explain more what I meant, but that'd be against the rules, so I'll just let you go with it.

Soy: There are plenty of ways I could respond, but let's not hijack Test's thread :p

Test-0 08-27-2008 08:34 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Alrighty. :) I took Trumans idea and... expanded on it. ;) So another rule/title idea that can come up is 'The Number' and a number. The number will affect the person in the sketch somehow, usually directly. :) In this case, I picked 30 for the number, obviously. :)

So for today, the sketches are:
Flexibility
The Number 30

Not as bad I guess. :)

TrumanGrace 08-27-2008 08:38 PM

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

heh, took me a minute to figure out, but I figured it out eventually. I like both of these, nice job.

Whoa! Flexible tree! What a bonus! :D

That 30 is stinkin' brilliant also.

Good man, Test. :)

Re: Test-0 Quickie Sketches Thread

Thank you. :3

The flexibility one is a personal fave, because it's just enough to stress but not enough to harm. Just the right dose of everything. :D
