"The Line Gutter"
 

Hey guys! I'd thought I'd let this forum know as well that I will be starting a live broad casting show soon called "The Line Gutter". Pretty much it's a live stream of what I am drawing in Open canvas or photoshop. There will be chat and some possible sketchy requests as well. I'd thought I try something new to get a little more known.

I haven't decided how often I wanna do the show and also what night would be a good night yet to host it but I think it will be interesting for people to watch and besides, I know there's at least one or two people who been wanting a way to watch me draw to see the process I go through :P.

What kinda service you planning to use? Something live-streaming like justin.tv?

Otherwise, dunno if you've checked out No-Suck oC Server (or N-SoCS, for short), but it allows you to over-ride the maximum user limit. Not sure if there's a limit on the no-limit limit, though. But you can allow more people to sign into one session. It also has admin-style controls, where you can kick/ban folks who are disruptive.

Im gonna be using that Ustream.com place. I found out about it from watching another friend do a show on it. Seems pretty cool.

Ah, N-SoCS is great! Ever been OCing with someone, and (for whatever reason) someone gets disconnected? With N-SoCS, you can actually load the session back up (blank canvas, as usual) and it will actually re-draw everything you've already drawn!

Hey again guys... im gonna be doing my first live drawing show this Thursday coming up. It will be around 8pm my time.... but I dunno what GMT that would be.... im in Massachusetts so what would that be in GMT ?

Nice! Sounds cool. I attempted to set one up a while back but the software I was using to capture what I was doing consumed so much memory it caused my drawing software (and everything else on my PC) to hiccup badly. So I deep-6ed it and went about my biz. Now I'm sure extra memory would fix that, but I don't have extra memory money.

But let us know who it works out. I for one am very interested!

Hm, you know it's funny. I have the perfect setup to do something like this as well, in fact I've done it a few times already to an audience of one (KG whom got to not only see what I was drawing for him but got to choose what he wanted and how it would end off.). I could easily start up a stream whenever I wanted... but then everyone else would get to see how much MORE of a hack then I already am. ^^;

Just a reminder that "The line gutter" will be starting tonight at 8pm EST.... I dunno what that would be in GMT yet but pretty much... it will start about 7 hours after this post >.>....

Im totally sorry guys, I had a real busy day getting my band new computer desk, taking apart the old one and putting together the new one. Didn't realize that it was gonna take the whole day. I will be starting the broadcast about an hour from now.... I havent eaten lunch or dinner yet so im pretty hungry o.o

So the first show was pretty fun. ^^ ZodiacX, Test-0 and Coffeeman showed up to hang out ^^. Three people watching isn't a bad start. Since it is also arequest show of sorts, Test asked for a girl in a form fitting penguin suit to be sketched out.

I'll try to keep the show at the original time I said the other day but last night's project with the new desk did take a while XD.

You are one hell of a modest guy BTW. Top notch stuff you got going on!

Saying "keep it up" to an artist can sometimes have the reverse effect, this I know, so I will say do what you do best. We all have our ups and downs but one thing will remain the same, your fans!

Heh... you know im not that great XD.... but of course.... I tend to give myself real high standards that I usually never meet -.- but I guess that's why lots of people like my drawings XD

Last night's show was fun ^^. I think 9 people showed up last night. Test-0, Coffeeman and Seph showed up for the show along with zodiacx and his friend.

The first hour of the show I did a warm up sketch.

Well last night was a fun episode. Thsi pic took up most of the time... actually the show ran for one hour more this week ^_^;.

Episode 9 will be on tonight for the line gutter.... almost reaching the double digits yay! :P... I guess I will try noting this a little earlier than like 5 mins before the show starts..... well it will be in 2 hours... will probably say something before showtime as well

Bleh... fuckin ustream with it's update. Everything is all glitchy right now. Some people can't get into the room and some other people have sscrewed up chat boxes.

Also I'm gonna be moving my show to Friday nights in stead of doing it on thursday nights. It will be on at 8 pm like usual and then when 10pm comes aroudn we call all migrate to Coffeeman's room. I'll be doing the show tomarrow then and hopefully some of the glitches will be fixed a little... but i doubt it :P

Drew 2 sketches tonight... tanker just asked me to draw one of my own characters so I drew akiko and Xtreme asked me to draw this RL chick that i can't remember the name of.... some model I guess... well anyway it was to draw her shrinking but having her butt and breasts stay the same size... which... was tricky to draw and I think it came out kind of bad but he seemed to like it.... akiko ill post on devart later but im not gonna post the other one... bad folds and shaky lines... also i think the butt is too big :P

Hey guys... yea this messege is a little late but I've been telling the usual people that show up anyway. Not doing the show tonight but episode 12 im gonna try to have a 6 hour show for all on a sunday. It is not going to be this sunday since im busy this weekend but next weekend from 2pm to 8 pm. It will end for the sunday night cartoons on FOX for those people who watch them and we all know that there is usually nothing to watch all day on sunday.

After this 6 hour episode im gonna take a short hiatus to do some other stuff. This is pretty much the season finale untill a little later XD. I'll probably leave notes here and there during next week about it as well.
