Animation Experiment based on Woot's "Super Science"

9 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, just wanted to share some things I cooked up while experimenting in Flash MX.

Note: I am in no way responsible for the artwork, all credit there should go to the almighty Woot.

Bonus Update! Art by Matsu-sensei! (filename: matsu_heavytan.zip) (original here)

I say it's already looking awesome despite it not being complete yet. Looking forward to the finished product.

Re: Animation Experiment based on Woot's "Super Science"

U need to view it in a player that supports .swf playback other wise all u see is code.

Hey blarxy, to view the flash (.swf) file you need to open it in a web browser. An easy way to do this is to click and drag the file onto your web browser, or locate the file with the File -> Open menu.

Not a bad start. Looking forward to the finished product. :)

Re: Animation Experiment based on Woot's "Super Science"

I just double click the file, select choose program, and select Firefox, much easier in my opinion, but that's just my two cents.

Hey guys, thanks for the positive feedback!

I've posted another growth phase to the OP, this one was a bit trickier in terms of transitions but I think it came out pretty good.

I've got plans to add more to this, so stay tuned!

Ah, much better motion this time. :)

Maybe think about changing her expression at certain intervals?

Yep, thats definitely on my to-do list as Woot's facial expressions are priceless. Goal will be to animate them with as much fluency as I've been using on the rest, but they're very intricate so I've been putting that part off.

Re: Animation Experiment based on Woot's "Super Science"

Eh... What was this made in? it looks like the breasts were made on a separate layer.. possibly tweened in if it was with a regular flash editor. but there are other options too... meh

Ok, last growth phase has been added. I've also added in quick placeholders for where the expressions will go because they really do add alot to the experience.

I've got at least one more update planned, so stay tuned!

Wow, that's really awesome. I'm both flattered that you chose my work as the starting point and impressed you got the animation so smooth!

I'm going to have to make more series where only the breast size changes :D

Very good, third was perfect.

Re: Animation Experiment based on Woot's "Super Science"

It's not finished?!? I wonder what the finished product will look like.

...btw the third one is pretty neat with the facial expressions.

Re: Animation Experiment based on Woot's "Super Science"

Wow, Sergio, you really are quite good at this.

Please, keep it up- after Dr. Quattro retired and Yiffer pretty much gave up the ghost there haven't been any good process-related flash artists around here in quite some time! :D

Re: Animation Experiment based on Woot's "Super Science"

Very nice. It is very nice to see some Flash BE again.

Re: Animation Experiment based on Woot's "Super Science"

Ok folks, we've got an update! I've finished animating all the facial transitions, hopefully it turned out alright.

I'm most likely going to consider this one finished at this point, but worry not, I've started on my next project!

...that is really. Damn. Good. O__O

Thank you so much, man. It's been way too long since we've had a good flasher here on the process. I await your next project with bated breath! :D

(And woot, when're we gonna see more tenfingers? ;_; )

Ok folks! Update time!

This actually wasn't the project I was working on, but when I saw it posted on the Melon Stand I knew what I had to do.

It was a labor of love, so please enjoy!

Newsflash! I decided to dabble in actionscript, and lo, we have interactive content!

Just going to post this here for now, since its nothing you haven't seen before, but I thought you guys would be interested!

(Right now the y-axis doesn't influence anything in particular, but it could!)

When asked for what application to open them in, just point it to your web browser and you should be set (assuming you have Adobe's Flash Player installed).

Actually if you use it right you can control the speed on the y axis making it go nice and slow.

Re: Animation Experiment based on Woot's "Super Science"

Hey folks, Sergio here again. Sorry for the absence, been busy with work and such. See the OP for my latest project.

Finally figured out how to coax Actionscript's drawing API into doing somewhat what I want, and combined that with some rudimentary physics. Its far from perfect, and the rendering can't handle extreme displacements (you'll notice alot of distortion if you get crazy with the jiggling) but its a first draft.

Each breast can be clicked individually, or you can drag her shoulder region to set everything in motion.

Without further ado, enjoy!

OP is forums jargon for Original Post or Original Poster depending on the context. So... just check the first post to find the download link if you haven't already!

These, by far, are the best flash rendering of BE I've yet to see. This really makes me wish I could commission both Woot and yourself for a non-nudity scene of my original character or something. *kicks lack of money*

Keep up the excellent work! I love how smooth the transition is, none the less, it's at perfect speed for my taste. Certainly is Glee worthy~
