Arania is a well known TF/ sometimes TG artist I don't really think you need to inform people, she updates once every month, at the last day of the month.

I've never heard of Arania before, so it seems worth posting it to me.

Of course now that I've heard, I don't really care. I'm not going to open thirty browser tabs to try and make sense of the sequence. Is it really that hard to edit the images together?

I'm sorry, I thought that people were allowed to state their opinions. It's cool that there's so much content there, but editing and presentation count too. It's obvious that this 'Arania' puts a lot of work into the process, but almost none into the site itself. If it doesn't bother you that's fine, but it's enough to stop me from even looking through it.

Who knows, maybe it keeps her web costs low. Maybe....we don't know, how about you address your concerns to her in a respectful manner? You'd be amazed at how much further that'll get you.

No, actually he was, not to us, and its not as if we think arania browses here but that was poor conduct. Complaining and expressing your opinion typically are accompanied by some form of explanation.

A valid complaint would be the color scheme, or the fact that the site uses frames, or the tedium of viewing longer sequences (which may be circumvented by that app, as it really works well. If only I knew how to add to the accompanying text file to add the rest of the gallery)

I agree that opening so many tabs is annoying, even if its just moving the mouse and clicking in the scroll wheel at a constant rate, its tedious. It would be nice if they had an upload system that just had a next button, we wouldn't even need the app. Unfortunately, arania's site design was set up for the shorter sequences where that isnt nearly so annoying.

He and I share the same opinion. It is a pain in the ass to open 20-50 browser tabs. That part of the site setup is terribly done. There were better ways of wording it, but all in all, he said his opinion in an entirely civilized manner.

I would respond to myself the way I respond to most things: In a straightforward and logical manner.

I didn't use any coarse language, nor did I say the site was ugly. The worst criticism I can give myself is that I was blunt. I could have used a more positive tone, but then again my feelings weren't positive and I wasn't speaking to the creator of the site. I didn't feel any specific need to be diplomatic, so I defaulted to honest.

My first post pointed out the problem I have with the site (thirty separate tabs to view the sequence mentioned in the OP) and a solution (edit them together into one image, or at least fewer than 30). My second post clarified that I respect the amount of work Arania does but it seems like the site doesn't get much work. You say I don't have tact or respect, but "needs work" is about as tactful as it gets if I'm trying to be honest about my opinion of the site.

As far as more specific concerns go, I don't see much point in elaborating since, as I mentioned, I'm not talking to the one responsible. I'm just reacting to a link posted on a forum. I'm pretty sure giving my honest opinion of the link is fair game, even if that opinion is not "OMG, that's great!".

Alliteration aside, White, I think I'll take my chances in the tournament.

I got a Firefox extension called DownThemAll!. It's been very useful so far in downloading long sequences of images (here, giantesscity, now Arania's site...) Some of you might want to check it out. After all, it's a lot easier to page through the images once they're all downloaded to a folder, and you can simply delete the .jpg files if you don't like them.

OP: Thanks for bringing the update to our attention. I liked the sequence.

I don't know why so many people are upset that there's been an argument here. Are you so afraid of conflict that you can't even read a thread where people don't get along?

Amazingly enough, open disagreement and worthwhile conversation are not mutually exclusive. This thread has been more fun and educational than most of the others I've read around here.
