Depending on one's tastes you can look up any episode involving the Anodites in Ben 10 : Ultimate Alien, every instances involves a woman dropping off her skin to reveal a curvy energy being.

Well she was a main character in Generation X and in Uncanny X-Men when Austen was writing it (I still hate that man).. but I guess she vanished off the face of the Earth sometime after that.
