Page 3. This is the "landscape" I mentioned before. I don't like how in the current series they show this one bubble structure and imply that the whole Galliferien civilization is in there. A big, old civilization ought to have a rich diverse history spanning the planet.

Just downloaded Daz 3D. Lets see how that works. (Gawd it's slow. Won't be using it for figures.)

Re: Gallifrey Girls

Wow, Daz 3D is hard. Even really basic things like copying an object are stupidly complex and incomplete.

Re: Gallifrey Girls

yeaaaaah, when I used DAZ I only used it for creating custom character models and poses. Sincethen I've taken to using Artificial Girl 3 ot make characters ^_^ I let it do the hard stuff for me, then I use the play mode ot follow htem around nad snap screen caps till I'm happy with what I have as a pic ^_^

Re: Gallifrey Girls

Well, the difficulty is the point for a sport like baseball, but for a tool, the point is to create something. I'm sure that someone could make a 3D program that was far easier to use then Daz without loosing any functionality. It's much faster now since I'm not using human figures, but still feels sloppily designed.

Another example: Why do lights have 4 sliders for their scale when none of these settings do anything? And then the important controls - intensity and spread angle, are harder to find. Also, I've just figured out that you can't have more then 6 (?) lights in your working view. Any more and you'll be left unable to figure out why your latest light refuses to illuminate anything.

I'm not sure I am following this...
Am I missing a script or story beforehand?

Prof_Sai 09-15-2013 09:45 PM

Re: Gallifrey Girls

No, but there are some fairly obscure Dr Who references in it. What are you not getting?

Ex: You can't see the Tardis from outside because it has a chameleon circuit and so just looks like the surrounding rocks.

authar 09-16-2013 02:12 PM

Re: Gallifrey Girls

I'm a fan of Dr. Who so it's not that idea that I do not understand. I just feel like I'm missing a couple pages of the script, so I'm not understanding what is going on. Or what may or may not happen.

I would hope they would take my commentary in the spirit in which it was intended.
Failing that, that they would attach electrodes to Violent's scrote and rig them to go off whenever he mentions spanking. :p
