STORY
Setsuna perfected the serum that Ami created, and wants to test it out. Ami becomes the subject, and the fun begins. But, she's not the only one who'll fall victim to being a tiny slave to Setsuna. This begins a wild venture, where their lives will eternally change!

Why the hell is it in .bin format. No matter what I use to open/convert/view it I can't get the file to work. Seriously I shouldn't have to work this hard for paid content

weird, when I bought it, it was in RAR format, .bin is such an old format, weird that you got that from a newish site.

Here's some help for reading .bin format , but this hasn't happened to me.

For anyone wanting to open RAR archive files, I use 7-Zip, its free & opens nearly every archive format

Color me shocked that a producer doesn't use .zip given other archive formats are not compatible with the base operating system.

Are the comics uncompressed bitmap images too?

That's interesting. I uploaded RARs, which contain a PDF, and both jpeg and png images at high quality. How it downloads as .bin is pretty bizzare.

I wonder if others are getting the same issue. And if so, can a simple fix of changing the extension from .bin to .rar work?

You say that like the general population is tech saavy enough to understand that and that it isn't the producer's responsibility to choose the most accessible, built-in means of enjoying the product.

Double-click and go. Anything more complicated than that and you haven't thought ahead and are placing the burden on the end user.

That is why PDF exists.

With all due respect, that's why 7zip was created - so people don't have to dick around with trying to open fourteen different archive formats. That the site hosting the producer's content isn't serving the format they uploaded isn't the producer's fault, but it is a discussion they'll need to have with the site host and/or hosting provider.

Well, it is still uncommon for someone to download and get a BIN file instead of a RAR file. This is the only complaint I got, so it can be easily be fixed by sending the buyer the PDF and/or jpegs via email.

Well, I don't disagree that PDF is better, or that ZIP is more common. Perhaps I'm insulated because a lot of the people I deal with don't have any trouble with RAR. It's kind of like how Microsoft designed Windows 8 for tablets because they forgot that people outside of their office don't necessarily own tablets.

Still, RAR isn't *that* difficult. It's not like he encoded it in some obscure format that only ten guys in Silicon Valley know about.

I am fine with a difference of opinion but I think you vastly overestimate the general public's understanding of technology. Anyone on this forum aside from people like whyamihere can be assumed to have a basic understanding of file formats and the such by virtue of being on this forum in the first place.

RAR or PDF? There's advantages to using an RAR, and there's advantages to using PDF.

Not everyone follows the same tech, and wants to utilize their own. And that's what I did. I'm not like Dreamtales or ZZZ, when it comes to packaging every material into a single PDF.

Not everyone has Adobe's PDF stuff and RAR tools, but both have shortcuts to access them. For example, Chrome has a PDF viewer included, and 7zip is free as hell to view RAR files! If people are not used to this stuff, we can help them learn.

However, if you're uploading one format - and people are being forced to download something else entirely - that seems like something worth discussing with your host, no?
Seems a relatively small cost of business. :)

Another thing I noticed with Gumroad is that they can let you upload multiple stuff, for a single item to purchase and download. So, maybe when issue 2 comes out, I'll try to upload the PDF as its own, and the extras as RAR/jpegs. Would that work out?

Possibly, but any test results are worthless without basic system details.

As I said, perhaps I'm insulated due to the crowd I run with. Many people are probably more like my dad, who, if I said RAR, would just ask why I was making dinosaur noises.

I'm going to re-upload the files, in a different way, after 2 people claimed to download the different file format than the original RARs, from the store. I'll post back, when it's back!

I know that if I send file packages to other companies, we always send them with ZIP because most don't use RAR.

But enough talking about the technical details.
It is the comic which is the interesting part.
And the comic is good! Really good!
I've enjoyed the drawing style and the way Ami is dwindling into her clothes.
I don't want to tell that much but this comic also contains bondage.
I'm not really into tying up women, but these ones were really arousing!

The sex scenes and perspectives were marvelous.
So I really recomment this story everyone who like neat SW stuff.

I'm looking forward to the 2nd issue.

Picked it up. It was okayish to me. Obviously a lot of hard work went into it, and it has several senshi get shrunk over it, but it felt more setting up shrunken women scenarios rather than shrinking. Which makes plenty of sense.
