Shrink Fan Comics launching August 15, 2016!

http://i.imgur.com/KdZOvWc.png

It's official: Shrink Fan Comics will launch Monday, Aug. 15!

Currently, we are doing beta testing to make sure all of the features work exactly how you'd expect them to. Even though we are accepting early memberships we recommend you wait until the 15th when the new comics come out and any remaining bugs get worked out. Right now you'll be able to read the Power Patrol series (61 pages) which was originally published on our sister site, Giantess Fan Comics.

On August 15th you'll get immediate access to Down with Skeptics, a fun unaware multi-SW comic with story by Cezar Nix and art by JM Valenzuela and Ludwig Sacramento, and Undertoe, a comic about a superheroine shrinking out of control with story by me and art by Oscar Celestini.

More comics are planned. Some have already been announced here. Others will be announced as their releases approach.

Weekly Commission Raffle:
As a Shrink Fan member you'll get a chance each week to have your fantasies illustrated by our talented artists. All you have to do is fill out the request form in the members' area with a description of what you want drawn by one of our artists. Once a week we'll hold a random raffle and one member will be chosen to have his/her idea drawn. One token is given to each active member every 30 days. Each token is worth one entry, however if you have more tokens and decide to enter the raffle your chance of winning increases. Drawings may be done in as quickly as two weeks but may take up to two months to complete due to changing workloads. Winning illustrations will be posted on DeviantArt as well as the Shrink Fan gallery.

If you want to support us and sign up before then, please let us know of any bugs you may encounter by emailing support or sending us a note here. Please note that bitcoin payments are not accepted at this moment but will be upon launch.

I don't suppose there's any chance that this could work with PayPal? Or if not PayPal, American Express... ? I would have signed up with a couple of these sites months ago if they supported my preferred options.

It's a hoax like the moon landing. There is no such thing as Shrink Fan!

I also wished that PayPal would be an option, but they have this policy that they don't support porn.

Both Paypal and Amex have strict no porn policies. I wish I could change it but it's beyond my control. Have you considered using a debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo or perhaps bitcoin?

Ooh, this looks promising, especially the commissioning. Any chance of getting in on writing for future comics?

I should've known that. Well, maybe I could make Bitcoin work. I really dislike it, but... I dunno, maybe I just need to try it.

Coinbase.com is super easy to use. I recommend them.

How do you pronounce "Qzar"? Is one of the letters silent?

"CUE - zar."

I much prefer Cezar/Cezar Nix, though. And it's a bit easier to say.

I've yet to follow any of these, but from the far outside, it is really incredible the scale you've grown what seems to be an incredible small business servicing pretty much every major following on the site.

Seriously impressive.

Will it be strictly subscriptions? Or will you also allow to pay per comic?

Pretty sure we're doing just subscription-based, like the other Fan sites.

Thanks for the kind words. I hope to improve and create comics for even more genres in the future.

For now, just subscriptions. Feel free to sign up for a month or two to try it out then cancel and return in the future when there are more comics to read. Or if you really enjoy the site, remain a member and help us create more comics and pinups. ;)

Sure, I'll give it a try.
There isn't enough shrinking content out there, so it's important to support a venture like this.

I signed in yesterday and read the Down with sceptics story. So far, really great work. Slow shrinking process and a nice story idea. If the other storys keep this quality Im sure the side will work.

Well I'm glad you liked it, Saren. Rest assured I've got plenty more stories planned to write for the site, and we've got some other great authors too. :)

Re: Shrink Fan Comics launching August 15, 2016!

Down with Skeptics is one of the best shrinking woman comics I have ever read. That artist nailed a sense of scale, composition, and showing without telling that is *sorely* lacking in a lot of size fetish works. I really enjoyed the close framing on many of the shots to allow for detail and clean depictions of the process. The pacing was perfect.

Just fantastic. That artist ought to be a regular on the website. I want to see more like *that*.

By comparison, Undertoe was alright, OK concept, but its execution was ridiculous.

That same artist is doing the next one I wrote for the site. Thought you might wanna know. ^_^

Re: Shrink Fan Comics launching August 15, 2016!

I'm glad that shrink-fan comics have finally launched their sites.
The comics I've read so far were magnificent and I hope there are soon more to come.

Review: Undertoe
Undertoe is the story of a shrunken heroine.
It is not so much the fact that she is fighting crime but more that she is struggling against her own fate.
But first things first.
Undertoe, originally a scientist, keeps shrinking thanks to an accident in the lab. She manages to slow down the shrinking process but keeps on shrinking.
I like the fact that the death of her other team members has an aftermath to the story, because with their demise their know-how is gone which makes it difficult for our tiny heroine to find a cure for her shrinking problem.
The artist did a great job on the perspectives and how Undertoe discovers her new world.

Real heroes never die that easily, so I hope that she manages to stay somehow small and sharp.

Review: Down with Skeptics
What does a bored sorcerer do if there is nothing on TV?
He finds some sceptics and shrinks them.
It was fun to see how these two women slowly shrink without noticing anything.
I especially liked the last part when they suddenly tried to get things that were suddenly out of range, but I don’t want to spoiler. ;)

Review: Power Patrol
She-Beasts shrinking sequences are awesome and I loved reading her adventures.
Liked it how the characters were drawn and the drama between the heroines.
Okay, this review is maybe a bit short, but I’ve found it hard to describe all three chapters, because they all told in its own unique way.
But it is definitely worth to have a look in!
I wonder how her adventure continues after chapter 3?

Greetings
Captain Ash

Thanks for the positive feedback. Down With Skeptics is one of my personal favorite shrinking comics - which is why I made to include it as a launch title. We'll continue working hard on new comics. :)

Re: Shrink Fan Comics launching August 15, 2016!

My 6-month subscription just ended, and I'm trying to decide if and when to renew it.

I jumped right onboard when I heard you were opening a shrinking-centric site, but as a process fan, I'm all about the journey. So far, I've read 10 comics (12, if I count power patrol's 3 chapters as 3 comics), and here's my overview:

- Better night
- Small fortune
- Small justice
- Bully
- Whos the boss
- Undertoe
- Power patrol chapter 3 (I've excluded Power patrol chapter 1, which mostly has a GTS, and I think is a crossover from GTS-Fan.)
These 7 comics are all insta-shrinks, with a single page (2 at most) rushing through the mini SW stages, spending the bulk of the story on doll sizes or below. Some of these are well drawn and have decent stories, and I would enjoy a sequel for them, hopefully with a bit more process.

- Power patrol chapter 2 has a nice mini SW sequence. Could have been longer before moving on to doll size, but I'll take what I can get.

- Down with skeptics
- The more I drink
- Watch your tongue
These 3 are full of process. Gradual, stays a bit on every stage. They had their flaws, but still, I loved them (Cezar nix - that's you qzar9999, right? Good job! I also liked your 'small fortune' despite its lack of process)
Basically, my question is - how many more of these can I expect to get? ;)

Re: Shrink Fan Comics launching August 15, 2016!

Well, Dave, we know there are a lot of fans of the actual process out there. I count myself among them, as you can probably tell from Skeptics and Drink. :D

I don't want to divulge too much information, but I can tell you that a very well-known SW writer has penned a process-heavy script for us; that future issues of Small Fortune will feature a good bit more process than appeared in issue 1 (which was really mostly to set the stage); and that I can think of more than a few other scripts (at various stages of development) that have plenty of processy goodness in them.

Yeah, Meri was one of the writers I was thinking of. She wrote a lovely little two-parter called "True Desire" that's got lots of process, repeated shrinking out of clothes, and some delicious F/f content. I'm looking forward to it myself! :)

scidram 03-28-2017 01:25 PM

Re: Shrink Fan Comics launching August 15, 2016!

I look at it this way:

First off, I'm overjoyed ShrinkFan exists. We get regular content in two formats: (1) the one-shot giveaway gallery, and I love how the one I submitted came out; (2) monthly 15-page comics covering such a variety of shrinking woman scenarios. I stress VARIETY here. Unlike some other sites that recycle plots and characters, ShrinkFan clearly does not, and that's one of its greatest strength.

That being said, because of this variety, there are going to be comics I like more than others. I love process and the journey too, but others might just want their SWs down to doll-size in a hurry. Some want multiple SWs at multiple sizes. Some of us have a higher threshold for rough play, humiliation, etc. Some want a good story to go with the shrinking. And some just want some good old-fashioned SW sex. Because various authors have submitted scripts that have been accepted--some completed, some in process, and some still waiting to start--this variety will continue. And that's why I plan to subscribe indefinitely.

I'm not going to state my most and least favorites, but as long as this variety continues, I'm in for the long haul. I can't wait to see those upcoming comics that are previewed on the site already. I can't wait to see sequels to some favorites that promise them. And I can't wait to see the script I submitted.

Which, by the way, Dave, is most definitely NOT an insta-shrink. :-)

Re: Shrink Fan Comics launching August 15, 2016!

Im glad to know more process heavy content is coming. Can I make one suggestion though? One of the reasons I unsubscribed was because the last few comics that had a quick shrinking process you guys gave away everything in the preview. It made me realize that what I wanted to see in your comics you were giving me for free. And I didn't want to subscribe until another process heavy comic came around. Can you guys maybe change the way you do the previews that way it doesn't ruin that moment they get shrunk? That gives me the customer something to look forward to. Just a thought :) keep up the good work guys.

qzar9999 03-28-2017 05:29 PM

Re: Shrink Fan Comics launching August 15, 2016!

I suspect that the reason the process was given away in those previews is specifically because those comics weren't really about the process - so why withhold it?

That said, J, perhaps this is food for thought?

I would say that's a double edged sword. Too often in the past we've gotten previews that enticed us to buy the full comic, but upon reading the rest, it turned out the preview was the only good part or the rest of the comic failed to pay off. This has happened with pretty much everyone from dreamtales to the original process store. On the other hand, a good preview that has some major eye candy can be a good selling point. I'd say find the middle ground, if it's a single-page process, only show a single panel, if it's a multi-page process, show us two or three panels but with no two from the same page.

qzar9999 03-29-2017 05:18 AM

Re: Shrink Fan Comics launching August 15, 2016!

I mean, it's an interesting idea, but don't you think someone who loves process might be upset if they found out after the fact that a given issue only has one page of it?

Anyway. Look, as an editor, I see all the issues before they're even released publicly. And you guys know I'm on this board all the damn time, lol. If anyone ever wants to know about the type or amount of some specific content in a given issue, just ask me. :-)

I LOVE Process. I'm a process guy. Of course I prefer process stuff in the comics, but let's keep things in perspective here. ShrinkFan produces high quality SW comics and they deserve our financial support for that. I'm happy to support them.

I agree to the previous comments.
I like to see woman to shrink out of their clothes.
And I like a good story to it with great art style.
Shrink-fan serves for every taste something

So I'm supporting them to get more of this art.
What I like most are the giveaways and the possibility to submit your own stories.
That way we ensure varity.

Tiedefender 03-31-2017 04:29 AM

Re: Shrink Fan Comics launching August 15, 2016!

I too like the shrinking process.
I do enjoy the shrinking out of clothes the most. Shrinking with clothes can be fun too.

Shrinking fan has produced some nice comics so far. And they are becoming more varied, especially the give a ways.
They have my support because they have good comics. And that its mostly about the shrinking.

While I know people have different likes, adding in things like crush and vore brings things to a dead stop for me.

I do want to see more comics and give a ways.
If they let you submit a story I would if I was good at writing. Editors would hate editing for me.:D
