SoylentOrange 09-03-2007 12:48 PM

Nice!

zhsp1 09-03-2007 01:05 PM

Very nice!

ProfessorMishap 09-03-2007 01:11 PM

Now that, is impressive.

shadow 09-03-2007 04:36 PM

It's nice and all, but I just didn't like it all that much.
I think it's the face that threw me off the most.

Prof. Frink313 09-03-2007 05:20 PM

I like the commentabout being too lazy to draw the water. The animation is pretty smooth.

katheb 09-03-2007 10:52 PM

thanks all ,

and shadow if you could explain what exactly you didnt like i may use that information to improve my art.

yeah water is a little hard to animate and i dont have the time XD [yes thats the excuse and im sticking to it]

Vejita00 09-03-2007 11:28 PM

Hopefully its not one of those moles that grow huge great straggly hairs that bleed profusely every time you try to shave it off.

cmage 09-05-2007 12:08 PM

That was very nice! At least you were motivated enough to animate the girl. It would have been not to good if you had animated water, but nothin else!

manigma 09-06-2007 11:09 AM

what you should do is make her get even bigger, or do another animation of her in a different position

katheb 09-07-2007 03:44 AM

when time is available and when i feel like it XD ill do more [dont hold your breath im lazy]

shadow 09-10-2007 09:01 PM

Sorry it took me so long to respond, but the problem I have with it that the face looks a tad fish-like to me.

KaaelXidandum 09-11-2007 10:47 AM

I love it! Also making me de-lurk because of this. Very nice. The fluidness in the animation is great, along with just the little details of how smoothly everything moves. That and in itself is an awesome image. :3 I just wish I could get a still of that last image. xD

Shadow: Ever heard of CONSTRUCTIVE criticism? Not one nice thing about any person's work has ever been said by you. Maybe try pointing out the positive aspects of a work instead of attacking the little discrepancies. Why do you think you got banned in the first place?

Yeesh, even the lurkers are attacking me...

Anyways, I said earlier on the thread that I didn't like it, and he asked why.
I was simply answering the reasons as to why I didn't like it.
That is not deconstructive criticism, I was stating that it looked similar to fish-lips.

Anyways, he has enough people kissing up to him, one person stating their opinion wouldn't do much to hurt his artistic attitude.

i know your a little crude but you are entitled to your opinion ,no offence taken

the lips are extra puff and pouty so i guess thats what makes it fish like

but to be hones i was expecting some other part of the face to be comented on XD

thanks for the info

Usually constructive criticism, while it does have the aspect of pointing out issues, has a CONSTRUCTIVE aspect, where maybe you give a bit of help, or a way to remedy the problem, rather than just pointing it out.

So, say you do have a problem with the look of the lips, you'd want to say something about how maybe if you thinned out the lower lip a bit, or flattened them into the face a little more, etc., rather than just stating the issue.

ProfessorMishap 09-12-2007 05:18 PM

Hey it can be to the point and direct. The artist has two options:

1. Ask whats the problem is
2. Cry like a little girl, throw a tantrum and declare that their art is flawless and swear badly at the critic.
