Hanyuu BE

1 Attachment(s)
Okay, if anybody watches "Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni" they will probably get this joke. Everytime Rika dies and Hanyuu resets her death, her boobs grows lol

For those who don't watch Higurashi, basicially this character Rika gets killed in every story arc and her friend who is some God pulls back time and saves her from cruel fate.

EDIT: This is just a fan made comic, there is no BE in the actual anime*

BaconExpert 09-19-2007 10:04 AM

O_o

I Must See This Anime?!?!?!

Edit: Oh, I recognize your avatar now. :O Does this occur in the anime? If so, which ep?

mehappy 09-19-2007 10:12 AM

No! Spoiler! I haven't gone that far yet! Nooo!

Nice pic. :D

Miracle overloading 09-19-2007 11:18 AM

O_O
srsly?!

deciett 09-19-2007 11:35 AM

Very nice find.

Would probably be better if I could read it to begin with =O

Oh well, pictures are the only universal language, they say.

joeman 09-19-2007 12:14 PM

Interesting plot. Is it awkward, cartoonish, and humorous deaths or bloody, nasty, and revolting deaths.

Smallkid 09-19-2007 12:39 PM

Oh my god, they killed Rika! And now she has big breasts!

All of the above

re:

translation? somebody should prolly put together all the BE moments in this.....

wasurenai 09-19-2007 12:55 PM

The visual novels/anime don't actually have BE, just so you know.

LostHopeOfDusk 09-19-2007 01:03 PM

Awesome, and better than my friend idea of having a t-shirt with the number of times you have been killed...

dsojourn 09-19-2007 01:15 PM

There's no BE in the actual series, only in the joke somebody wrote into this oekaki comic.

The actual series is a dark, gruesome, and disturbing paranormal/psychological horror-thriller. A bunch of schoolkids in a tiny, isolated Japanese village are unknowingly stuck in a time loop, repeating a June in 1983 when one or more of them devolve into paranoid psychopaths for one reason or another and start killing their close friends and others in brutal fashion. You, as the audience, are totally lost trying to figure out what the heck's going on in each time loop, whether there's a rational or supernatural explanation for everything, and how the different time loops connect/affect each other.

Since everything makes perfect sense in the end, and since the whole thing's pretty gripping, and even fun, if you can suspend your reluctance to watch violence enacted upon younger characters, I'd say it's a really great, original, clever series.

LostHopeOfDusk 09-19-2007 01:29 PM

I think Code Lyoko is better than that, because they cant revive people, at least not if they die in the real world(They used hair to revive Aeilita once).

Hmm... so is it kinda like Hellsing, where proces doesn't literally happen, but you just notice the breasts are suddenly bigger in the next scene?

wasurenai 09-19-2007 03:26 PM

No, not even that.

JakeQuistis 09-19-2007 06:22 PM

Basically, there is no process at all throughout the entire series. It's a completely fanmade BE, like a large amount of BE out there.

Clickme 09-19-2007 09:37 PM

Lyoko? Really? That never really even struck me as worthy of being called TRUE anime. Not to put anyone down, I just personally hated it, but that's just one man's opinion.

Now Utawarerumono... That's a great anime! A man with no memory of his past is hunted by visions of death, and through chance, becomes the leader of a nation under constant struggle. now he must defend those who have given him a new life, while trying desperately to keep his own past hidden...

Even have a place to DL for those interested, but I won't post such links here, so as not to be yelled at. JP Dub Eng Sub.

Gagecoalbrace 09-19-2007 10:03 PM

Lyoko? never liked it. I prefer El Hazard myself The Wanderers series not the OVA's

So there's no basis behind this pic?

Couldn't find the site where it was from.

Guess I didn't explain clearly. Sorry for the misunderstanding guys, I posted this thread about 1 minute going to bed.

mehappy 09-20-2007 08:06 AM

Wait, I ended watching when season 1 ended. I think it was around episode 28? So, this means there are more episodes?

There's only 26 episodes for season 1. Season 2 Higurashi kai has 24 episodes, but like I said this is only a fan made comic.

BTW 2 days ago due to some incident about a girl killing her father with an axe in Japan, Higurashi Kai is currently cancelled from public TV until further notice, damn.

what does that have to do????eh..nvm

avatar2xl 09-20-2007 11:16 PM

even without the BE, I would still suggest it just for being a decent animu

DEAD SERIOUS! Check around google or animesuki, its big news in the anime world besides from School Days's NICE BOAT. The girls 16 and the Japanese media appear to believe with the idiots from 2Chan that she was a Higurashi fan and decided to take Rena and her role model. So Japanese new media are trying the best they can to make Higurashi look like a anime merely about girls with axes and gruesome killings.
