I would really like to see more of this stuff...like a girl or some random blob that absorbs people, or a blob-girl, or a girl being assimilated into something like Rain Mikamura from G-Gundam....

I like this because it so naturally leads into expansions like BE, WG, etc.

Ya know, I never saw the end of G-Gundam, what ever happens with her there anyway?

I never saw the beginning of it- someone explain to me what the absorption TF is in it?

-SPOILERS-

At the end of the series, General Ulube Ishikawa uses Rain as the core pilot for the Devil Gundam (Dark Gundam in the US dub), based on research indicating that said device would be most powerful with a woman in the cockpit. Rain offers no real resistance, as she's knocked unconscious and trying to get away from the man she loves (series hero Domon Kasshu).

Long story short, an epic battle sequence takes place, Domon eventually finds her, and convinces her to burst out of it by admitting that he loves her.

I wouldn't call it absorbtion, as the extent of her absorbtion is being coated in a silvery substance, more like the motion-capture suits used in other Gundams on the series.

Long story short, the overall plot of G Gundam revolves around Domon Kasshu's efforts towards destroying the threat of the Devil/Dark Gundam, a nanotech-based massive mobile weapon (the Gundam term for absurdly huge giant robot). Its nanotech components, called Devil Gundam Cells, can take over, remotely operate and alter other mechs as well as people living or dead.

What little process is seen of it onscreen is with a male guest character in Episode 15, where the skin of one arm gradually takes on a diamond-like appearance. Other symptoms may include glowing red eyes and an increase in physical abilities. The process is reversable up to a certain point however.

Why is it that I can only think of the roof-top of the house moving up and down with a comically voiced "OM Nom nom nom nom"?

I had a one piece idea while back that flopped. It was about Luffy melting and falling on top of Nami.... it might be somewhere on this board stuill.. I will see if I can find it, NO art involved though.

I'm not sure which is the best place to ask, but this one seems to fit. I'm looking for anything along the lines of the movie The Thing (John Carpenter's version) or Soylent Orange's Mary's Story. Basically, something where a technically formless creature consumes someone, then assumes his/her form, mind, and/or traits while continuing to spread and consume further.

Angel of Darkness only goes up to 3 in the live action version. If i recall correctly, 3 was one of the harder ones to find as opposed to 1 2 and 4. I cant really say about any type of absorption from the others I saw.
