I've recently started a TF story written in a similar style as the late Therianthropologist Dave. In my opinion, he is the most realistic TF writer ever. If you haven't read any of his few, but wonderful, stories, then you wouldn't know that the TF process in them is all off screen.

Now, for my question. Would it be alright to post the story here?

I would say, go for it. Even if the story has an "off screen" TF, I think it's okay to leave some things up to the reader's imagination.
