No, no, it's "Be Arc Hive," the premier site for people who want to transform into round houses for bees.

Speaking of which, does anyone know what happened to Palomine? I stopped posting there years ago put Palo was a good dude and he apparently just ghosted at some point. Do any of you old heads no where he went? Just hoping he's okay.

Actually Facebook, Reddit, and Instagram are all, by definition and set-up, FORUMS. So you may not know what you are using, but they are forums.

As of 2020:
Facebook had 1.69 billion users
Instagram had 1.0 billion users
Reddit had 330 million active users

forums have not been abandoned at all, people have just forgotten what they are and think what they are posting to are something else.

Sort of like saying, "I don't have a dog, but I do have a Pug."

Twitter, Snapchat, and Pintrest are not forums by definition. The first two are messaging applications and the last is a billboard service. All that leaves are feeds and static pages to round out what you encounter on-line.

With all of the talk of the early BEA, I can't help but get all nostalgic and started thinking about Anthony Cotto's FTP site way back even before the BEA was nothing but a newsletter.

Yup. I'm old as dirt...LOL!

Are there features to the BEA that aren't present here on the Process Forum?

By the way, is the Be Arc Hive down for everyone or is it just me? For the past week and a half at least, I keep getting this:

They're moving some parts of the site to a new server, and they're apparently having particular issues with the Plume forum.

The Addventure has been (mostly) successfully moved, and it's now located here: https://addventure.bearchive.com/~addventure/

Thank you for the new link. There is so much SW gold there believe it or not!

But it's gonna be hard to find stuff now.

I search google like this -
