Boku no Marie (AP AR Split Personality Dispute)
 

Boku no Marie, one of the old ongoing manga series, has a robot loli

girl named Yuri. In the chapter 53, Yuri downloads a

backup data with an alternative personality. This alternative personality,

whose name is Sayuri, turns out to be malicious as she often

compellingly takes over Yuri's body and ages it to that of a mature

woman due to her ambition and lust for becoming a sexy idol. In the

chapter 63, Sayuri becomes greedy, and she tries to delete

Yuri's personality and keep the body to herself. Yuri's

personality survives, but Sayuri successfully steals the body in the

end.

I actually seen a few images of this manga before somewhere, though I didn't know the name of the manga and there was never a link provided to the actual manga to read. I was actually very pleasantly surprised, it's a very well drawn manga with a really interesting story line. Do you know what there release schedule is like?

Taking a look at the list of the chapters and the recent dates each was added, I think it's safe to say they are releasing a chapter each month nowadays: http://kissmanga.com/Manga/Boku-no-Marie And the chapter 64 should be uploaded anytime soon.

On the other hand, I agree that it's a really neat manga in terms of both artstyle and plot. It would be nice to see it get an anime adaptation in the near future. The series has only had 3 animated OVA episodes so far, and I honestly think it deserves a proper anime adaption than just leaving it at that.

OH deffinantly, it's art style is really unique and story line is something I actually haven't quite seen before. It doesn't fall neatly into a lot of genre of anime. Which is awesome to see. I think the major problem though if it were to have a proper anime release, is preserving it's unique art style.

yerps, but it's diffidently getting exciting. Can't wait to see what happens next month, we actually might see Sayuri taken down and or some how her being integrated into the main story :)

The reversion scene was a bit lacking than I had hoped for, but oh well. Here's hoping that the series gets its rightful anime adaptation in the near future.

Yeah, would have liked to have seen a better revert then that, but what a clutch move there at the end lol. Glad to see Yuri back in her own body though :3
