"The Nutty Professor" Remake - Roll the Dice?

A little while since I have posted here, though returning and noting my last topic, I thought that it might make for some good mental toffee - and indeed, given that Covid has somewhat subsided, we may as yet see this project in a few years. If not consigned to development hell, or subsumed by wider fashions, of course.

Back in 2020, I highlighted the news to remake the famous 96' version of "The Nutty Professor" http://www.process-productions.com/f...chemical+Night . The wheels already turning, though little has been heard of it since, I was musing on something the forum, at large, might find interesting.

Given the core narrative/text and where "The Nutty Professor" franchise has gone over the years, where do you think the emphasis will go, and what kind of transformation might it entail, this time?
