I don't believe in uncreating characters, as it ignores the artist's vision of another world.

I don't believe in 'original characters' who have no actions, personality, or function outside of looking one way or another :P
I could list a whole slew of characters to which I wouldn't have minded an avatar based on, but then you'd process the hell out of them.
And they aren't me, or at the very least they don't coincide with anything I do.
Like Xellos being a friggin' troll.
Or minecraft slimes being so damned jolly looking, in spite of the fact that every one of them is trying to eat you.
And not in a sexual way.

Well the idea is that since they are your avatar, you bring YOUR actions, personality, and function to them. You can do that to the slime, but now taking you places is part of Vincent's function, so you are at Vincent's mercy for certain things. Oops!

You're only required to use the avatar for four days.
Of course, if you take a liking to it, you can keep it.
IOW, Darline will return.
I just don't like seeing characters - part of the creator's soul, however small - being unmade.
