I loved gia222n's art and animation. He disappeared from Deviantart a year or so. Did he ever reappear under a new name or anything?

Long story-short; they were Jehovah Witness' and the people they know found out about what was going on. They had to chose between drawing smut or being exiled from their family/friends/faith. They chose the latter. I won't give my thoughts on the matter, but it's a tough situation to be in.

Dude! That is one intense story. I breaks my heart. I've seen many of content creator just disappear, and I often wonder if this is the underlying case.

The thing that always gets me is how did 'people' find out who was posting what? Its not like a person listed their home dress on their DA page. I've always felt that those that 'out' the person are often the most repressed.

Judge: how did the witness find all the evidence if he wasn't actively looking for said content.

saixhinata, thank you for the update. That's definitely a bummer, but gia222n has to do what they think best for their life.

I guess we never really get that part of the story. I always assume that it's someone with whom they have close contact coming across their work, such as using a shared computer, coming across sketchbooks, etc.

I know there have been artists who work day gigs in commercial art and have decided to take down their fetish work because it could be stylistically linked to their vanilla work.

In my case, an IM client kindly merged all of my porn and non-porn contacts and started sending out very questionable invites an friend requests on my behalf.

Could have been bad times, but fortunately the only person who made a fuss was the guy who considered Sears catalogue to be porn and firmly believed that KISS stood for Knights In Service of Satan.

Basically an idiot I didn't mind absenting himself from my life.
