New comic - The SW Files: Xenomorph (Also, sale!)

Hey, all! Finally got something new in my store! :D

This one's a short but fun little tale about a scientist examining an alien life form. Before long, she has a close encounter - and it leaves her tiny!

I'm afraid we don't yet have the technology to visit its home planet. :/

Um...no?

I don't have the slightest idea what a picture of spaghetti has to do with my new comic, nor do I know what to say in reply to it, but I didn't delete it...

I could have done without the coloring job on this work. The B&W still in your preview looks far better. For someone who is an editor on a professionally-run subscription comic book site, I am surprised you thought to hire the colorist as well as sell the work product that resulted. One would think you would have better judgment in these matters.

Your preview is the B&W version, as mentioned; that is backwards from just about every ad and offering I have seen.

You seem the derpy, reply-to-everything-with-my-hot-take sort, which is a marked improvement from obsessive not-as-clever-as-they-think-they-are hucksters, so a Thank you for the feedback will suffice.

Re: New comic - The SW Files: Xenomorph (Also, sale!)

I'll be the first to admit that the coloring job is definitely not on par with the sites I manage for IWC, but...well, TBH, I can't afford to put that kind of money into this. Anyone who's been around long enough knows that SW stuff doesn't sell as well as, for instance, GTS or BE. Personally, I don't think it's hideous or anything, just maybe a bit...flat, I guess? But you get what you pay for.

However, I'll take your feedback under advisement (snark aside). I'd like to note that I did actually preview a color page on my e-junkie store, so previews do exist for both.

Would you folks prefer I offer standalone black and white versions in future? I mean, I can do that no problem, but I wasn't aware that it was this much of an issue.

Re: New comic - The SW Files: Xenomorph (Also, sale!)

I like having both versions myself, but you probably know my problem with most comics is the pacing. Your stories are the bestest. They have lots of story, great characters, great interactions, and a long period of shrinking. As for comics, I need a much longer period of shrinking to get to where I want to be and keep going, but I guess my needs are different than most of the people here. I think one of the few comics that worked for me was Yardwork 10 because it had lots of shrinking, switches between who was dom and who was smaller, and went on for a long time. But that's just me. Oh well.

I prefer a nice long drawn-out shrink myself, but comic pages cost money. lol

I did like what was done with my first two comics for Shrink Fan in that regard, though. I think Down With Skeptics and The More I Drink both turned out pretty great. Maybe one of these days I'll adapt Penny's Game for the site...

I usually like your stuff Q but I'll be honest, not feeling this one. I don't feel like going in depth but I'll say this isn't your top tier of offers. Thanks for investing in the community regardless.

Gave it a buy and I'mma have to agree with everyone else. I get that art is difficult to make, but when I pay for something I expect to see decent coloring and I don't expect to see so many copied and slightly modified drawings.
