Two Female tfs in this week's comics [anthro cheetah, anthro bat]
This week I was happy to see not one, but two female-to-animal tf this week when I went to my local comic store.
The first is in Wonder Woman #17, and features a woman-to-anthro-cheetah tf. For people who are familiar with the Cheetah character, she's a Wonder Woman villainess who dresses like a cheetah, and sometimes has some small anthro qualities (tail, light fur, claws). This current version is much more animalistic than previous versions. The transformation is about a page long. I don't have a scan of it, but here's the cover, to give you an idea. http://nerdist.com/wp-content/upload...WW_Cv17_ds.jpg The second is in the Image one-shot Belfry. It features multiple people-to-bat-vampire transformations. There are a bunch of nice little tfs throughout, with some nice focus on one or two female tfs (each is only a few panels long, and is more stylistic than detailed, but it's definitely worth a look). Here's a scan I found on google: http://www.thegeekedgods.com/wp-cont...Belfrey-03.png It's not every day you see a nice female tf in mainstream comics, so it was a really nice surprise to see two of them in one week. What's more, both featured the characters in the nude, which is always a nice bonus. |

So what's this Cheetah's story? Pre-flashpoint Cheetah was always catpeople, but one of the gods allowed her to disguise herself as a human with an illusion. As far as I know they never showed the illusion breaking on panel. NU52 Cheetah was also 100% catperson, but never had a human persona.

I haven't been following Wonder Woman TOO closely, but this article seems to sum up her status post-Rebirth well.
https://www.inverse.com/article/2204...oman-rebirth-8 It's possible that past Rebirth issues have depicted her transforming as well (though I haven't seen or heard anything) - I only caught this one because, well, the cover was something of a dead giveaway. |

For "mainstream" comics, it is the maximum one could request and hope, thanks for the links buddies!

Cheetah has had sever origins, sometimes just a costume, sometimes a cheetah person, sometimes a geneticist who mutates herself. Also yes she has had mutation origin before. I haven't followed the comics heavily but I did watch the Justice League cartoon, which mixed and matched some origins. There Cheetah was a mutated human while Giganta, the woman who grows to giant size, was actually a ordinary female gorilla transformed into a super human by Gorilla Grodd (I guess Grodd was a reverse furry?).
And speaking of that same continuity universe also gave us Literal Catwoman and Female Man-Bat in Batman and the Splicers, humans with animal DNA spliced into their own, in Batman Beyond. Later The Batman gave us a version of batman Terrible Trio(Fox,Shark and Vulture) as 3 Collage students who stole and modified the man-bat formula to work on anyone, this version of the trio Vulture was female. |
