The Lobster (2015)

I'm not sure if this film has yet been discussed here, nor do I know the level of process that we might be shown, but I figured it might still be relevant:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3464902/

For those that don't want to click the link, here is the logline for the film:

"A love story set in a dystopian near future where single people are arrested and transferred to a creepy hotel. There they are obliged to find a matching mate in 45 days. If they fail, they are transformed into an animal and released into the woods."

The movie stars Colin Farrell, Rachel Weisz, and John C. Reilly and is supposedly getting released in March. That's all the info I have at the moment.

There was a thread a long time ago hyping several upcoming movies and this was one of them. I'm not expecting good process.

My mistake! I must have long ago forgot about that thread, especially since I seem to have commented on it. Maybe the fact that it came from Josh86 resulted in me blocking it out of my memory.

Anyway, thought it might be worth mentioning again since the film seems to be approaching a release date. Maybe not. I don't want to get anybody's hopes up.

There's plenty of actresses there, so there's got to be at least some female TF. Fingers crossed.

ps. I had a look at the old thread, which went on before I signed up here. What's up with that guy?

i don't thing that we would be rewarded with something like that, it sounds very "off-screenish" to me (translation, the TFs are just an excuse to add some weird flavour to the story).
And about the guy, he bit himself and unfortunately died poisoned.

I wonder what kind of animals they become?

Well, based on this Funny or Die clip, we already know what kind of animal John C. Reilly would be.

not to necropost,
but I found this teaser clip for the movie were John C Reily and Collin Farrel talk about which animals they would like to turn into if they don't find a partner in the 45 days.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEGOI3L3IYc

the video is 10 mins long, but the clip is only 2mins long it loops 5 times (to avoid copyright rules or just to troll I don't know)

I am surprised that no one confirmed that this was already a dead horse. Again. Let it rest in peace.
