Southern-ification

It's been lightly touched upon in the bimbo thread, but one process that doesn't get enough attention is 'southern-ification'. Seeing a normal city girl go from stuck up to simple and southern is quite trip. The works of Cristina Prince amazing in their detailed, ludicrous transformations. Anyone have any favorite pieces out there?

Ah, yes...from North to South. I have an interest in this sort of subcategory, but I haven't found any decent examples to recommend.

Southern culture is a subset of "Bimbo" huh? That's going to piss a few people off.

Re: Southern-ification

Yeah...the cultured to white-trash concept is one thing (which can take place in any geographic setting), but assuming that "southern" is automatically the white trash equivalent is a pretty stupid way to break it down.

(of course it pretty much reinforces the coastal vs flyover country stereotypes in and of itself)

I've had this kink for years. Sadly, there isn't a whole lot of it. Corn Fed Girl's one fic I remember. Also, way back in the second season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy herself gets transformed into an old timey southern belle for the majority of the Hallowe'en episode.

There's also this set from HMB.

Corn Fed is the golden standard right? That would be fun to commission art of actually. Mr. Grey is the only other author I remember writing this.

I'm not sure if the OP was making a direct correlation between southern and white trash (I may be wrong). I think "Southern" TF could be more of a niche in and of itself. At least if you're talking specifically about accent, mannerisms, and the way we Southerners have our own phrasings and euphamisms. I'm from Kentucky, so I don't automatically take offense...but I would get prickly if the assumption was Southern = White Trash.
Taylor Made Clips did have a TF that involved a Southern accent, but it's been some time and I can't recall the name of the video.

Where could one find Corn Fed? deviantArt? Fanfiction.net?

Where are the artists mentioned located? Spread the links, spread the knowledge!

Sorry, I'm lazy:

Corn Fed is here: http://mcstories.com/CornFedGirl/index.html

Calving Signs seems more standard bimbo? Too many story lines in that one to make a coherent comic or sequence out of it, I would think.

Re: Southern-ification

I wasn't necessarily implying insult, just that the genre had been closely tied to bimbofication.

I swear there was a story added to MCStories a few months ago about a lady's car breaking down in the country and while she waited for it to be fixed she became progressively more of a local. Anyone remember the name?
