Tim Burton ruined it for me. Hopefully we'll just have the new American McGee game, the Broadway Wonderland musical and the 60th anniversary DVD and then that'll be the last we hear from Alice for a long while.

You know, I was genuinely excited for his movie. I mean, with his crazy aesthetic blended with the story's equally crazy world, I figured what could go wrong? Then I heard it was going to be a pseudo-sequel to Disney's Alice in Wonderland; and I was fine with that, albeit a bit cautious. What I wasn't prepared for was Alice in Narnia. Now, I'm speaking for myself when I say that the growth/shrinking scenes do not redeem the film in anyway. They were nice to watch, and all, but I stopped caring about the movie halfway through it. I guess what I'm saying is I wanted to see Tim Burton adapt the Lewis Carroll story to film; not do a sequel to a Disney movie.

And any film that wastes Christopher "Saruman of Many Colours" Lee loses respect points from me.

(I'm sorry if this goes a way off topic.)

Re: Alice In Wonderland

boo to some degree for me as well.

As for the tim burton film.
I dont know.
Its just there are already quite a few movies based on Alice so having a sequel with an older Alice seemed like a good idea.

I understand what you mean by the film losing a bit around half-way but I personally enjoyed it both as a size process fetishist and a fan of Alice.

Has there been any information on the new game as of late.

I never played the first one.
IS it good?
Also were there any GTS or SW in it?

For now just the "Alice house" illustration for the new game already has my eyes on it.
If it turns out to play a part in the game, I`ll most likely buy it within a week of release.
I hope it has trophy support!

JBird 11-13-2010 05:55 PM

Re: Alice In Wonderland

One would think EA would capitalize on the sequel by releasing the first Alice game digitally through Steam. Who knows; maybe it will happen before or after the second game comes out.

Also I think the cat ears were mouse ears. I know she did a cat pose earlier, but the tail says "mouse" and if it's going by the Alice setting then it has to be a mouse because there was only one cat in the story and she wasn't playing that part. I don't believe the cat is even in the tea party scene.

Oh, that's right. The Dormouse was at the tea party. My mistake.
(FUCKIN NEKOS  )

Still, I find the second growth rather compelling, even if the "growthee" has an identity crisis.

I havent watched the anime but I have been reading the manga.

Its a good read, the first 3 vols of the manga are already out to get.

Funimation will be getting the anime`s first season soon.

Just to let you guys know:

1)The mangaka of the manga is a woman soI wont say I`m surprised to see cross-dressing.
2)This special is an anime original since it wasnt in the manga.

Why is that shinigami creep there!?!?
That is the scariest shinigami/Cheshire cat I have ever seen!

That was the same outfit he wore to sneak into the ball in the manga.
He was trying to catch the guy(turtle) who was kidnapping girls and selling them.

Its not a TG just plain old cross-dressing.

I`m not trying to sound rude or implying anything(ok thats half flase) but its amazing how we have a process store and there isnt a single Alice in wonderland based or themed comic.

Re: Alice In Wonderland

Merry Christmas everybody!!!

I always wanted to ask...
Has there been any process on the Queen of Hearts(A preferably younger good looking one) in the past?

Also look at this(those eyes are something):
http://danbooru.donmai.us/post/show/...nderland-dual_

Is Alice`s dress a maid outfit?

Its just I`ve been looking at places like DeviantArt for example and saw a japanese themed Alice in Wonderland.
Alice in a kimono with tabi socks with those sandals were really elegent.

I`m not really familar with the victorian times fashion(Wherever Alice`s time period is) but that looks like a maid outfit to me, with the apron looking thing and all.

I really do like that outfit, its what really represents the character and all, its how everybody distinguishs her.

Heres an example from DA of japanese themed Alice:
http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&se...+japan#/dahgdd

Its not the best example at least for the outfit but seeing a more japanese cultured Alice would be really nice.
Looking glass introduced characters like Humpty Dumpty, thinking of a Japanese Alice encounter some japanese mythology would be interesting.

I`m just tossing a potential idea for the future.
