Mulan (2020)

Did a quick search and don't think anyone has picked up on this yet but it seems like the 2020 film adaptation of Mulan will have a shapeshifting witch in it. Gong Li plays the witch and in the latest trailer we have a really, really quick peek at her morphing from woman to bird. Transformation at around 1:50.

So, they've cut out all the songs and Mushu from the film and replaced it with a Shapeshifting Witch?

I thought this film was trying to be more realistic :confused:

My understanding is that it's trying to be closer to the actual story and more appealing to the Chinese moviegoing audience, but that could just be nonsense.
