I see what they were going for, but it's sorta dumb. As it implies all these people are Jedi's who just died spontaneously, worse yet their spirits will forever be trapped in a mediocre online shooter with no voice chat.

Was worth it to imagine a Kristina Hendricks shrunk down into her clothes.

Or maybe she gets stuck in the game.
Try to get her out but...well, if she has to come back OUT of a typical TV monitor she'd be actual "game sized" =-)
