Gender Hulks - Redux

Hi there,

As is so often the case, the title will require a little exposition before we can get to the essence of my post :o.

Though it, seemingly, did not survive the change of ownership, some here may recall the thread in which I highlighted and we discussed the concept of a "Hulk Out" transformation in which gender was a central theme, relative to the ultimate outcome. In essence, we would see a man becoming a she-hulk, a woman becoming a (male) hulk etc.

The discussion was varied and did afford some valuable insight. This culminated in a small project for myself in which I penned a narrative seeing a man afflicted with the problem of hulking out into a green, gamma amazon under varied circumstance.

This particular story, so titled "Betting on Green in Vegas" was published here, but also on Fictionmania too where it received fair reviews - albeit after a somewhat comical mistake was corrected, concerning some geography :p.

The link can be found here for the so interested http://www.fictionmania.tv/stories/r...40184272816999

This particular thread returns to that theme, after a while, as I have been musing on the gender-bending hulk out concept again, and thought to share the notion here.

If I could, would the idea of a gender based hulk out still hold some interest? Such as a tale focusing upon a woman with a male hulk alter-ego, or perhaps would a continuation of Mr. Chasey's predicament be more of a intriguing plan? Or perhaps there are other perspectives that I have not considered as yet, though I would be receptive to other's views on the matter.

Thanks again,

Alchemical Night.

I think that if a man or woman wound up flipping to a Hulk of the opposite gender, when they'd revert back to their normal human forms, they'd still be the Hulk's gender, at least for a little while. That's what makes the most sense in my little peabrain and I can't exactly explain why it does.
