So there is a character named Doppelganger that can change into other people.
The big hero Homelander has something of an obsession with his deceased boss, so he has Doppelganger impersonate her so he can interact with her.
Doppelganger cant hold a form for too long, so he slips up and changes back to normal for a second. Homelander gets angry and makes him change back into the woman shortly after. There is a little process on screen of both the ftm then mtf changes, but they are quick.

Yah the doppleganger had another scene too where he transformed to seduce and then turned back to take a picture to threaten...I think a governor or something I don't actually watch the series

I'd upload the clip but youtube wouldn't like that, I will say though the breasts were pretty decently animated

I have no actual knowledge, but I think it's too early to make a sweeping pronouncement like this -- they could always come up with someone who has a similar power if they need it for a plot point.
