New Netflix Show “Bright”

So yeah I just saw the trailer for this thing “Bright” feat. Will Smith, set in an alternate LA where people and fairytale creatures coexist.

Just a heads up for it, there’s definitely scope for TF and maybe some anthro styles à la Grimm with a better budget.

At the very least there’s some sexy orc ladies if that’s your thing.

Premieres Dec 22.

This basically sounds like Shadowrun with the serial numbers filed off, which I'm pretty okay with. :D

It's not a show, it's a movie.

So, any interesting stuff there, or nothing as usual?

So its a rip off of Fables aka The wolf amoung us. Not that I'm big fan of Wil Smith.

Looks like a Shadowrun Adenture Module....bet the director is sitting behind a DM screen rolling a 20 sided dice ...unfortunatly putting will smith in this movie was a botched roll. Only good TF i see so far is making a 50 year old man look like a mid 30's cop.

Probably won't be cyberpunk dystopian enough to be Shadowrun.

Though frankly, I'd prefer SR remains untouched. Out of all the attempts, only the Genesis game got it right.

I thought the SNES version had some good points... And no love for Returns? I know the 2K7 FPS was an abomination, but that shouldn't disqualify the rest... ^^;

Urban fantasy is a genre that hasn't been given much love in the movies, so I'm ready to give it a chance.
