Calico is a quirky, laid-back game for the Switch about magical girls running a cafe for cats. Among the many tasks in the game is cooking for the cafe, which involves shrinking down and running around the countertop, collecting ingredients and throwing them into a mixing bowl.

Both consoles can play the same games. The Lite is just a smaller, shittier version of the regular Switch that can't connect to TVs and can't separate its controllers, so there's no reason for it to exist. If you get one, get the full-size Switch.
