New TF Art Pack

1 Attachment(s)
This is my first ever transformation art pack featuring art by TigerTwins.

What you'll get are gals on the farm that want to do their all their own dirty work. That means hard work, dedication, and being smart enough to be your own animals. Inside are 6 lined images and 2 full color images.

You can all check it out here: http://www.e-junkie.com/304784

If you're interested in TigerTwins' art, you can find more on her FA:
https://www.furaffinity.net/user/tigertwins

If it's successful we'll work to put out more in the future and we have more ideas for packs already. Your guys' (and gals') interest is greatly appreciated.

You're charging $8 for 8 images.

I would reevaluate your business model.

Noted.

Personally, I'm more inclined to buy art packs that have sequences or comics rather than a few stand-alone one-shots. Like I'll buy jollyjack's and mirandaleigh's stuff because I enjoy the story and process.

Ah, this is actually helpful. Thanks, I'll keep this in mind.

I won't lie, I'm tempted. If you were to throw in the linearts with the pack, I'd happily pay the $8. :D

For the colored pieces, you mean?

Re: New TF Art Pack

I purchased it. Because I enjoy your work and that makes it worth it. I am a professional artist, writer and musician. And, unlike some of the parasitic pricks on this website and most of the internet, I realize that $8 is a sandwich made by unskilled labor, a weeks' worth of training (if that), and fuck all dedication to one's job. Or two coffees shat from the Starbucks hellhole. But given that most here are used to jacking off to whatever they can scavenge from the creative detritus of others, and they have the time on their hands to argue over whether an image has enough females in it to be posted to the main forum, or whether skin-bursting tfs are tfs, I can't imagine that seeing a price-tag on anything wouldn't result in a bunch of whining when they could just as easily create something for themselves or find a higher paying job with all the time spent bitching over a gnat's ass.

My suggestion would be to advertise somewhere else, or advertise here but not listen to anything the peanut gallery has to say. You can charge whatever the fuck you want for your art, and you do not need to let the mire set the bar. And by posting here without ever responding to comments, you will have the attention of the people who come here only to find links to other websites and never participate in the forums which, by the way, is the majority. Or you can respond positively to positive comments. If you want to make money off of your art, there is a long road of separating your audience from your detractors. Sometimes it's hard to tell which is which. But people that ask you to lower your prices are not and cannot be your fans.

I mean, is anyone that puts "Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people.” in their signature worth listening to? That was a quote my buddies and I joked about way back in middle school. I mean, he couldn't even be bothered to dedicate time to thinking of a novel thing to put in his sig. Here's an addendum: petty minds discuss prices.

Obsidian, on the other hand, is worth listening to. Someone that likes your art or might end up liking your art usually is interested in the creative process too, or at least in the stages of the work, which themselves can be enjoyable in their own right. Most artists that sell comic in the Furry and Transformation communities include some of the composition process, as 1. only fans pay for work, someone that leeches off of you for free is not a fan, 2. fans are interested in the work beyond the mere image. In the end, both you and your fans benefit from including sketches, etc.

Dark Horseman basically voiced that he is not really in your current target audience, so if you diversified what you sell, he might be.

I'm not even going to read any irritated responses to this message or anything that is posted in this thread after my message because either 1. it resonates with the people it that would benefit from it or 2. the people that it find it offensive aren't worth my time. In either case, I've said my piece. So, if you are feeling butthurt, save your breath.

Whiteflame, I just hopped on to say that I do agree and you have VERY valid points. However, he is fighting against an already established market where line arts and the like are included to help incentivize purchases. Not flaming you, but hoping to add some insight here and maybe soften your approach. This forum is meant to be a community, not a place you come to tear someone a new one. That message goes for you too LK. Be more constructive in your delivery.

As to the OP, good luck with your art sales! It can be tough starting. Seems there is potential in your product though! Looks great!

Well, I see that this has become the "topic of advices". Personally, I understand that all the voices should be listened, the positives and negatives, but it is true that the cristicism should be always constructive.
Said this, LK words are simply the words of experience. Maybe not too ellaborated this time, but he knows what he's talking about. I haven't seen your work, true, but generally speaking, 1$ per page is a bit too high for this kind of business... evidently, the price is up to you.
Going back to the constructiveness, if you haven't still a loyal group of customers, the best way to make it grow is by reduced prices and promotions, and then raise up them a bit (or not). Well, I suppose that this work as every artwork transaction out there...

Alright, I'll keep that in mind as well. Thanks for the clarity of thought on this.
