Tooning Around - Toon TFs
 

I know its an idea that's out there but I'm kind of curious to what level of interest it exists after I posted this beginning to BEA:

Toon is sort of I think lost when you think about it amongst all the other TFs out there as anyone turning into Mickey Mouse or Sonic the Hedgehog can be considered 'tooning' when you really think about it. But I guess what I'm curious about is does the level exist of just a normal person being made into a toon version of them self? That's kind of why I started the BEA post with what I felt was a perfect catalyst to do it was to make cartoons of other characters. Modifications can be done and I'm not opposed to turning someone into a toon version of another character, I'm just curious to see what others come up with with the concept of 'tooning'.

What are your thoughts, ideas or examples of 'Toon TF'?

I'm a fairly big fan of the Toon TF. Caricature of the original person, maybe a bit of squeak/rubber/flexibility thrown in depending on the case. It's fairly often a difficult item to portray, at least from what I've been able to gather. Maybe it's because of the more abstract nature of the TF, where a character goes from being themselves to...well, themselves except with a few exaggerations? It's generally something which is much easier to demonstrate through writing than illustrations, at least from what I've been able to gather.

What feels like a goodly chunk of the stuff I've commissioned/posted has been based around it.

I've actually got a sequence by UmbraFox I should throw up as well in my thread now that I think about it... Quick, off to the update button.

I like the whole toonification of yourself, but its hard to find pictures, video, etc. of said tooning, so maybe we should make this the place to put all the toon transformation stuff. Here's some i drew.

It's an interesting concept, it can be done quite well if your not afraid to go a little wacky.

The pics above are good, goofy floppy limbs and a sunny disposition.
Something I'll try someday.

I have a series up on my Furaffinity page called Half-tooned that deals with Toon transformation, the first part only has a male tf but the second one has a MtF tf that I guess also has mind-swap elements to it. Just thought I would throw that out there if anyone was interested.
