I'm curious, I know what I like in my BE, but what do you all prefer? I don't see any of these as wrong answers, but as an author of smut I want to see what others are looking for in their process stories. If my poll doesn't have your special brand of kink, feel free to reply with what you're looking for.

I'm not looking for Source Of Transformation. What I mean is, I'm not looking for whether you like attribute theft, magical potion, scientific/realistic, etc in what causes the growth, just trying for the pure process here.

I originally wanted to see how the poll function worked on the forum, but I think it will work better if people reply with a 1-10 next to the categories listed below, 10 being you can't get off without it, 1 being you commit hate crimes to the author.

Here are the descriptions

Straight Boob Growth (SG)
This is kind of the catch-all, you don't care how your boobs get bigger, so long as they are moving down the alphabet. No special extras, or all the special extras, so long as they get larger.

With Lactation (L)
Whether because they have become water balloons filling with milk or just the Straight Boob Growth from above with the added bonus of some mam juice, it is bound to quench your thirst.

With Weight (WW)
Back pain, tipping over, being forced to stay in your milking stall, these juggs have a realistic heft to them. Trying to deal with weight problems is part of the fun.

Without Weight (OW)
Also known as helium BE, these puppies are literal ballons and might even cause the girl to float away. Or it might only make them lighter, just trying to let the girl move around a little.

Tempary Growth (T)
Kind of falling under some boob reduction, whatever happens, isn't permanent so the girl has to keep it up if she wants to keep her new melons.

Burst Through Clothing (BC)
So long as there is some growing involved, let's ruin a few shirts and a bra while we're at it!

Unnatural Nipples (UN)
Really, this could be a whole different poll, but let's just have this here if you are looking for something as part of this growth that adds a little (or a lot) to the process with the nipples (and areola).

Size Category Small (SCS)
Not that these boobs are small, within natural human female realism falls here, so the final size is under a Z cup and the typical growth is between 3-12 inches bust size.

Size Category Medium (SCM)
Most typical BE stories end up in this range, what I'm calling "down to her knees" range. Definitely unnaturally large, with some assistance and probably a large wheelbarrow, a woman can still function and move around with tits this size.

Size Category Large (SCL)
This is the big one, any time breasts have more diameter than the girl is tall, where descriptions of her being lifted off the ground from her tits, where buildings are destroyed, this is the size category you are after.

Hmmm...

Straight Boob Growth (SG) - 5, it's what we're here for, amirite or amirite? I do like BE as part of something else though, such as TF or AG.

With Lactation (L) - 7, this is more of an icing on the cake fetish. It's not required but definitely appreciated when included.

With Weight (WW) 7, not into morbidly obese but BE is appreciated when someone is turned into a BBW or given a weight-themed TF, such as into a sow.

Without Weight (OW) 5, I'm neutral about this in itself, but I love it when its part of a dollification TF (which we don't have enough of, I tells ya!)

Temporary Growth (T), 2, I gave this a 2 because it's cool if it's part of a horrendous TF that a woman recovers from, but I'm not really into a consensual or welcomed growth that she's trying to maintain. I like BE that is forced, humiliating, and objectifying.

Burst Through Clothing (BC), 10, very rarely interested in a BE scenario that DOESN'T have this, and the more detailed and humiliating the better, especially when combined with clothing destruction from other growth, such as an ass bursting through pants or a skirt or TFing legs ripping nylon.

Unnatural Nipples (UN), 7, this is another icing on the cake but not needed theme. It's especially effective when used as the precursor to the rest of the BE or TF—e.g., the infamous nurse scene from Ail Maniax—or if it's the coup de grace, such as two long and hard nipples bursting through the seams of her bra cups to expose her ripened melons (Readyart has had a few comics over the years that have touched upon that).

Size Category Small (SCS), 7, I dig this if it's part of an overall process, such as her breast initially growing before we concentrate on another area of process, only to return for a grand finale swelling. But I also dig it as a final destination.

Size Category Medium (SCM), 9, probably my optimal. Again, I dig the objectification, and this is probably the best size for that.

Size Category Large (SCL), 6, this can be cool or can be cartoonishly absurd. It's all in how it's handled.

SG: 8 - well, yeah. My ideal transformations involve women becoming more what I find sexy, and I find big boobs sexy, so therefore this counts.

L: 4 - I certainly don't mind a little lactation, but a lot of the time, this transformation involves a humiliation component, which is something I'm not really into.

WW: 6 - I do want realistic weight, although since I don't find it sexy when a woman is struggling with back/shoulder pain, I enjoy concepts such as "magical musculature" as part of a transformation.

OW: 2 - I find "helium" breasts kind of ridiculous.

T: 7 - This is fine, especially if the breast growth and then shrinkage is just one component of a series of transformations.

BC: 4 - Again, this often involves a humiliation component. Something I really like is magical clothing transformations, so I would actually prefer clothes magically altering themselves to account for the new size of anatomy that they're supposed to be covering -- or, maybe, enlarging in size but changing in style to show off more cleavage, etc.

UN: 8 - I'm not a fan of the nipples themselves changing to a weird shape -- just changing size so they still look natural with the new breast size is enough -- but would also go for the nipples becoming more sexually sensitive, and/or the nipples becoming magically pierced with jewelry, and/or the areolae changing shape to hearts or stars or something.

SCS: 8 - This is exactly what I want -- breasts that are obviously big and certainly attention-getting, but with the woman still able to be a functioning member of society who can wear normal-ish clothing.

SCM: 3 - Might be okay as a temporary transformation, especially if they're being used consensually for sexual purposes.

SCL: 2 - Too much for me.

I saw this post, and I had to say something, not to do the poll, but to offer a different opinion that might shape your current viewpoint.

Please, do not try and formulate Fetish Fiction Writing; it's not possible. People's kinks are much too diverse and bizarre to quantify.

When I checked out your story on Amazon, I marveled at the number of reviews with thoughtful comments, like 12+. I was stunned. You never get that kind of feedback in this community unless you write something sexy and engaging.

All of the BE I've read on Amazon overflows with Bimbofication. And… most of the time, the plots are Parmesan and Spaghetti: get big, get horny, get to fucking, repeat. There is nothing wrong with this, but I crave something little more substantive between the two main protagonists. (Being a romantic can suck some times in the BE niche).

To answer your question on the specific type/descriptive of BE, I'm going to say, do not worry about it. I'd focus more on the conflict, plot, and growth of your characters (more than just cup sizes). I'm fairly certain there are specific readers that if they see a story with their type of BE, they will read it regardless, but that collective group isn't as big as it used to be.

I'd focus more on taking risks. My example: I'm not too fond of Lactation, I tolerate it at best but often never bother reading anything with the Other Story Attributes: Lactation. But one time, a long time ago, I read a story where these two women were exposed to a Succubus Virus (???), and its symptoms were breast growth and Lactation. I almost bailed, but the mode of transmission was drinking such Lactation. There was a scene where the two women were drinking from each other boobs, each growing larger, then giving the other a turn. They kept doing this until they were massive. It was one of the hottest scenes I had ever read.

The size preference, which I think is the keystone to any BE story, is tricky. I am a massive fan of WOW stories. Any BE story where the female protagonist becomes room-sized or larger and immobile is right in my Wheelhouse. Yet, the story MUST have a growth reversion clause, or this becomes Body Horror to me.

The same goes for revenge porn. If the story's plot is how this super nerd takes revenge on this beautiful woman who wronged him, I'm out.

These stories should be as fun as they are perverted. My all-time favorite story is "Cup Above the Rest" by Clovis.

The reason why I love it and still love reading it is because of the main character, Ally. All she wanted was to experience the thrill of having massive breasts.

(***spoilers***) The climax of the story is she goes to a Big Boob convention with her boyfriend. Each is happily enjoying what Ally is experiencing until she appears at the conference's final judging aspect. Then shock, her other roommate shows up who heard the same magic spell placed on Ally. Then there's a crazy growth competition between the two ladies, with the conclusion almost becoming darkly tragic, but no! Both ladies are rescued by the magically inclined roommate with the selfless courage of Ally's boyfriend.

The story was fun, whimsical, and had the perfect blend of tension that would make you worry about things getting out of control, but it's all going to be just fine.

I've never appreciated realistic stories because reality sucks. Here are some interesting facts:
Each cup size increase is about 150 CC of saline…
There are 3785.41 ccs in one gallon…
If a petite woman goes from 34 B to 34 JJ she would gain approximately 8.5 pounds.

(Math: Going from a B cup to JJ cup[as per the UK bra measurement code] is a 12 cup size increase equal to 1800 cc of the implant, which is 3600cc of saline, which is equivalent to about 8.5 pounds.)

In conclusion, I would like to add this: write what you want. Make it fun, make it exciting, and maybe make it a little dark, but never treat your female character as nothing more than a commodity for the 'male gaze.' And ALWAYS put some sex in it.

(What's the point of getting bigger breast if the protagonist doesn't smash them in her love's interest face right before they begin their sexual marathon.)

ALSO, I almost forgot, clothes ripping is a ++++. Its an analogy to stripping. If done well it can be a huge reveal of vulnerability or a massive power play. I can get into this later, but I've meandered on long enough.

But seriously best of luck with your writing. I would love to see any aspect of Transformation Faction get taken seriously on Amazon.

Five for means I can take it or leave it. The only thing I find off putting is air/helium filled that might make the woman float away. If there is no weight, as in they just don't bother her or affect her posture or movement, that's fine, as long as they aren't necessarily described as balloons.

I'd like to add measurements. I love when believable measurements in the form of either weight or bust circumfrence are listed somewhere in the BE sequence.
