What's the best transformation piece?

Hey guys, another one of these open ended questions.

What's the best, in your own opinion of course, transformation piece you've found in your endeavors?

---------------------------------

For me, I think one off the top off my head would have to be LittleNapoleon's dog TG/dog transformation on Transfur. It was fairly short, yet very detailed and the outcome was nothing less of outstanding.

Pictures, or stories? Or both?

Picture: If I had to pick one right now, probably this: http://yunners.deviantart.com/gallery/23684748#/d243z5o
Animated: Fubuki to triple breasted mouth-vagina demon in LA Blue Girl
Live Action: The She-wolves in Trick or Treat http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xob...ion_shortfilms
Short: Mako's The Hunted http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ro0X8wkaIX8
Story: Probably The Moon Coin by our very own Rei-Lin

I know it's all very personal taste, but I was blown away by this piece http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9849689/ the other day, demon TFs are my thing in general but I thought this one in particular was fantastic.

Pictures: any of old Gryff's works.
Photomanipulations: the good ol' Kurt (aka lessthanhuman) had one about a werecreature that was waay incredible (it had an incredible work on feet).
TF series: An American Female Werewolf (Loboleo's masterpiece).
Video: The Dark (Nyle Cavazos' one).
TV Series: She-wolf of London.
Movie: Ginger snaps.

Re: What's the best transformation piece?

Oh man, let me try this one!
Ok: Picture: has to be anything from LoboLeo really, he was the FIRST TF artist I've run into when googled for werewolf transformations the first time a loooong time ago.
Animation: I have to say La Blue Girl Ep 3, Yaku's TF scene was just... yes... all of that, sad thing is that I could never find the full version of that scene EVER.
Movie: Ginger Snaps will always have a special cage built for whenever she needs to change, in my heart ^^.
TV series: You guys remember Angel? He was kind of a Buffy spin off, he had kind of a werewolf girl in some seasons (Season 2 I think?) and even if the TF was never fully shown it left a LOT for imagination...
Story: this one has to go to our good friend Cursebearer and his awesome and well detailed transformation scenes, any of them really. I know many people that can write a good TF scene in the middle of a good story but that guy can write a story in the middle of a TF scene.

Re: What's the best transformation piece?

This is tough, I have so many favorites. :(

Picture/Comic: LoboLeo's work was the first real transformation sequence I ever came across waaaay back when I used to help him with comic ideas and spell checking. Wish he didn't get to post only things like 2 weeks per year or something.

Animation: I've got to say La Blue Girl here. Yaku changing into a Werewolf and Fubuki changing into a Demon was really awesome. Megumi changing into her beast form in Urotsukidoji was a close runner up for me.

Movie: Well if we're talking overall, I'd have to say American Werewolf in London, it was and still is the best werewolf transformation on film. But if I wanted to name the best female transformation, I'd agree that Ginger Snaps is one of my favorites, with Cat People a very close second. Both were done really well.

TV Series: Werewolf! Yeah it's mostly males, and we never really see the females transform, but it was a show exclusively about Werewolves, which was awesome. Second in line is the transformation of Nina from Angel and third is the transformation of Nina from Being Human! I suppose that one is closer to a tie for second, I like both equally.

Story: The Moon Coin by Rei-Lin is amazingly aweso....ohhh I can't plug my own work! DOH! =D Honestly Psudodrake (http://us.vclart.net/vcl/Artists/Dan...ies/Growth-TF/) was the writer who inspired me to do my own writing in a similar way, with really long, drawn out transformations written with small details that made it possible to almost "see" it happening even without the eyes. But he also wrote a lot into his stories and the transformations were not always the main focus, so big shouts to him!

Nice replies all so far :P I was gonna post loboleo as well, but I didn't want to be cliche. I mean who DOESN'T like loboleo's work.

I hope more will post so that those of us who aren't familiar with your particular favorites may be able to discover art and works of tf we've never seen before.

Re: What's the best transformation piece?

Can't really think of a best TF piece overall, but here are a few of my favourites:

MasterShake's and Silverbulletproof's Full Moon Justice series. DC Animated Universe + TF porn=win. I'm eagerly anticipating the finale.

The series can be found in MS's gallery

http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/mastershake3/

I'll just say outright that I love everything that Mastershake3 commissions, including that Black Widow to demoness TF that JMS posted.

I'm also a fan of Coffeeman who's stuff can still be found on his Transfur account. My favourite pieces of his are these two:

http://www.transfur.com/Users/Juanva...bmissions/1587

Storywise, I'm fond of Lycanthrokeith's work (hi Lycanthrokeith!). I particularly enjoyed the Lilith Strain (found here). It's a branching storyline and there are a few dead ends, but you can find multiple well-written TF scenes if you follow the right path. I'll happily confess that it was what inspired my Inanna's Demons series.

Has to be FissureKing. Those two catgirl pics will always be the best TF pictures I have.

And you can't have a "best" thread without Ranzab. Lizards, cows, meeces, horses, monkeys, sharks...

Fenris49's Party Animal is probably my favorite pure TF sequence. Only the first four pages, but they're plenty.

I only have one TF story saved, and it's chiefly BE-oriented, but I've yet to see its rival. Slumber Party by Fret Pearson.

For mainstream TF, my #1 for years has been the demonic corruption of Rachel Summers from Excalibur Vol. 1 #6.

Animated TF is Captain Planet forever. The rat TFs in Skumm Lord are what I look for in every transformation.

Live action is all about the AWiL. I can't think of any female TF that stands out. Ginger Snaps and Being Human are nice enough, but I don't go back to them over and over.

Lessthanhuman is where it's at for photomanips. Love the kitties!

Riding on a tangent here but, Megumi transforms? When?
